I had my circ around 6 weeks ago, and after some pain post-op, all was fine.

However I noticed this bright, red growth attached to my foreskin - it has been there for about 4 weeks. Initially I thought it was just dried blood. It wasn't, so could it just be some extra skin? Why would it be bright red though? Wouldn't the skin die after a week? Why is it still bright red?

I want to see my urologist, but it's a bank holiday in the UK today - his next slot will be Thursday.

I am concerned about this growth but should I be? I have attached some pics...

Please Help!

I hope you're right Diesel. It could be that.

Yeah a friend of mine noticed the same thing about a week before his willy fell off

Probably not the same thing then, seeing as my dick is still intact after 4 weeks.

uncut - I was circ'd because I could not pull the foreskin back. Stretching did not work.

Fuck...

Looks like a blood blister of sorts. It should go away with time, at least the blood blisters I've had on my hands have.

Ask a doctor if you're worried. I'm not a doctor.

I hope I am right too. Im not a doctor but I have some scares that get irritated because of location and they get bright red. only happens on new scars and in sensitive areas that get used or rubbed or bumped a lot. Good luck man. Let us know what the prognosis was.

My appointment is not until Monday with the specialist, so unfortunately I'll have to wait and try to forget about it until then.

Thanks for the concern though!
