Former territorial Army squaddie British Mirza-Tahir HUSSAIN cheated the hangman thanks to a personal intervention from Prince Charles .
HUSSAIN faced the death penalty in Pakistan for killing a Taxi driver ....
He had been in prison for 18 years .
The freed man shot Jamshed KHAN who allegedly "assaulted him sexually".
The old homosexual panic defence is still alive and well ....

Maybe this has something more to do with the fact that the death penalty is seen as barbaric in all western nations other than the United States and less to do with homophobia. Just a thought. Though your post doesn't give many particulars of what happened. Is there some reason you posted this twice?

yup, nothing to do with the original case before a proper judge finding him innocent...and it being a religious court that then overturned that verdict, on unsound evidence.
