That clip was pretty dreadful ... very painful to see. B. was the least engaged person on the stage.
Sure, she looks good compared to the average mom who's just coughed out two kids -- but hey, that just doesn't make the cut in that context.
She's obviously not in reality. I don't know what shit she's on, but until she stops it, she will be the ongoing trainwreck that everyone remarks upon.
But I'm not as pessimistic as some posters.
Sure, she could continue on her slow ascent downward and fade out or even die in four or five years.
But if she got off all the crap she's doing (no simple thing, I know), she could come back psychologically in a short time.
And getting back into shape would take three month's work with a personal trainer.
I'm no Britney fan but I do think she has a fair amount of talent -- not of the sort that interests me personally, but the kind that seems to work nowadays.
One really strong public performance and the cheers would lift the rafters.
