Wow, HG...
Holy Words-twisted-AND-taken-out-of-context, Batman. I've always given you a lot more credit, and now my only embarrassment, is that I was actually one of the few that respected you.
I see nothing constructive in moderators taking shots at members if the member HG took things out of context then explain it that way and say no more.

She left of her own accord, and she did not upset any timid souls to my knowledge.
Maybe not timid souls certainly upset 2 of your fellow moderators however.

. Other than that, I don't like seeing people go, but if people can't handle themselves like adults on an adult site, then they don't really need to be here, in my opinion.

Going to state before I reply to this that I'm posting from a member standpoint, not a moderator one. These words are coming from me, as a person... not as my status on this site. So. What exactly about PrincessTasha are the mods supposed to support? She's rude, indignant, puts words in people's mouths, makes fun of people, calls people liars when she has no way to prove it... is incredibly inconsiderate in the way in which she states opinions... Being a strong woman is one thing, but doing the things I just listed doesn't make a woman strong, it makes her generally mean and tough to be around. I, at least, don't like to be around people like that. If anyone acts the way she did on this site then leaves, I wouldn't be wandering around wondering why the mods didn't try to make her stay.

I'm with Meg, and am also speaking as a member. She stormed in here barely six months ago, which hardly makes here a "long standing member", flooded the place with posts, most of which were hostile and nasty (and I don't mean that in the good, fun way) towards other people, which having a massive rack doesn't excuse.
Finally novice_bottom I base my response on the member I interacted with not her massive rack since I never saw a picture of her unless there was one in the avatar image.

Her profile's now deleted. Her old posts are now under Sparroe spongecaques.

I've been wondering lately about why these bizarre names have been showing up on accounts of users I was familiar with. Does it mean those users have left as well and their accounts 'closed'?

There was a user known as "kdog875" whose gallery was my crack and one day his gallery was gone and his username changed to "Oldman Rivver". It's irked me as to what happened to him and has had me in withdrawals ever since.:biggrin1:

They are either name changes, or deleted accounts.

You can usually tell the difference by the member badge under their name, if it's an actual badge like mine and yours then it was a name change, if it's just Member in plain text it's a deleted account.

(meaningless ad hominem truncated)
Precisely what did I twist or take out of context?

The ridiculous assertion was put forth by a person with the power to ban members that people are only banned from here when their actions warrant. You, in a similar position of power, chimed in with a "hear, hear!"

I submitted a very recent occurrence that illustrates this assertion as utterly false.

You either vindictively went after an undeserving member, in which case you're a lying snake...or you were "following orders from above," which makes you a spineless coward lacking the courage of your convictions. I'm not entirely certain which is worse, and I honestly don't care to dwell on it. I just wasn't about to allow this smarmy hypocrisy to float by unchallenged.

You've both illustrated why you shouldn't be mods! It seems that you were personally involved with the situation.
http://www.lpsg.org/198018-dildos-are-they-enjoyable.html

PT had been given warnings by the mods over that thread. A thread which had all the hallmarks of the troll - new poster trying to get dildo thrills out of the ladies - something that Dolfette, Tash, & MR always sniffed out quickly & jumped on.

This is what Tasha sent me a day ago:

Haha,i havnt been on the forums since Saturday and apparently i'm being accused of arguing and trolling again PMSL!!!!!!! I think the members need to see their mental health team as they are clearly deluded.

I fail to see why i should be warned to kerb myself when i stated the truth......

I'm not an idiot and won't be treat as one,its unfair
x

I might not agree with all she said, but she was entirely justified in saying it.

Ever heard of Constructive Dismissal Mods? It's like a bunch of Nasty girls in the playground forcing someone out.

Your characterization of her as hostile, unkind & inconsiderate, is utterly ridiculous. She was the opposite of all those things. One or two spats do not change a personality.

Maybe you, as you yourselves put it, are mentally masturbating over her departure.

As a Mod, please learn not to put negative personal opinions when discussing bans or exits. It leaves you open to criticism. Diplomacy at least preserves an illusion of fairness.

Do you agree with what she said the AlteredEgo in the thread you listed? Personally, I thought it was pretty uncalled for. Her main foil in that argument deserved whatever was said to him, but the other comment was just nasty.

That said, she WAS NOT BANNED, and probably shouldn't have been, though I think she should have been warned, hoever, for her comment to AlteredEgo. The OP was banned, however, and deservedly so.

How can I be "personally involved" in someone choosing to leave the site on their own accord? She wasn't banned. She asked to have her account closed, so it was closed per her request. I discussed things with her in a very adult manner on a thread in which I disagreed with her opinion, nothing more. Criticize me all you want. If you'd rather the mods all hush up and not be open and honest with the membership about situations like this, then fine, I'll stop responding. The mods didn't "force" her out. The only communication that I, personally, had with her was on the forum itself. Do any of my threads come across as me trying to force someone to leave the site? She gets upset about something moderately minor (of course that's just my opinion), chooses to leave the site on her own accord, and it's the mods fault? I don't get it.

I modded for 10 months in my previous run, have only been back... what, a week, tops? I wasn't a mod when MickeyLee was banned. I wasn't even actively visiting the site when MickeyLee was banned. I have zero idea why she was banned, or what events led to her banning. What I do know is, in the ten months I was a mod before, and so far since I've come back, not once have we EVER banned a person for "no reason". We don't ban people because we're bored. We don't ban people for personal vendetta's. We don't ban people because someone's paying us off. We ban people because their actions somehow warranted a banning. So, despite knowing nothing about MickeyLee's banning, I have every bit of confidence that her banning wasn't unwarranted. What's entertaining to me, HG, is that you say she didn't deserve the banning, yet I can't imagine you even have all the details, considering you don't have access to the moderator forum.

Sometimes I just wish people could realize that there's more than one side to a story.

 That was a good one. You almost had me there, but you pushed it a little too far, and then the believability started crumbling. Of course, it's compounded by you writing as though she was banned, when SHE QUIT.

Now quit messing around, don't make me waste time scouring the Wayback Machine, and put your hot gallery back up already.

Pardon me for mistakenly assuming I was corresponding with someone capable of following a line of conversation. Since I clearly erred in presuming it would be obvious, I'll explicitly point out now that it was MickeyLee's banning that I was referring to.

A public threat from a moderator to publish a member's private information...how interesting.
