Boy, I remember the first time I bought a pair of these daring bikini-esque briefs. Was probably in hs and nervous as fuck, but once I saw the package and the (considerably less daring photo than this one, but still) on the box, I had to have it. I spent an inordinate amount of time walking "casually" around the men's underwear section and finally worked up the courage to take it up to the counter. I'm sure I looked away the entire time and the clerk must have been laughing inside, I was so obviously self-conscious. But man! When I got that home and pulled them on, it was instant boner time. Think I wore them for days and beat off constantly. In the 70's, these were really shocking, esp where I grew up where NO ONE wore anything but tighty whites.
