Alright, I'm really curious about something I have, and that is bumps on my shaft. much like goose bumps and they have been there for as long as I can remember. And keep in mind I have never had any sexual contact with a girl before....so I really have no idea what they are

If they have been there as long as you can remember and no chance of an sti, they are probably sebaceous glands in your skin. It is reasonably common for them to develop on the penis shaft, apparently much more common in uncut guys. I paniced at first and saw a skin specialist who assured me they are normal, may disappear when older but maybe not. Strange thing is after that I asked some friends, at least 3 of them said they had the same and it had been stressing them out. I think guys need to be more
open in communication! I had stressed for years that it may have been something worse. You should be able to find some examples on google if you so some searches, or can probably see them on some of my pictures.

From your description, it sounds like a condition called sebaceous gland hyperplasia or sebaceous prominence. This is very common in men and is not considered abnormal; do some research on the net, there is a lot of info on this out there.

If they are small and soft the bumps are most likely sebaceous cysts and you don't need to worry abot them. If the lump is hard, painful and it sort of pops out out of the blue, it could be a thrombus in one of your penis's vein. That's basically a blood clot. Usually it goes away after a while taking anti inflammatory meds.

you said, "as long as i can remember" - then a DR has seen this, right? during routine physicals? and has not said anything, then you're ok (in my guy-of-the-street opinion)...

I have had these too.. almost like a mini pimple. if you squeeze them real hard a tiny bit of white puss comes out. theres not many, and there not that big. you need to stretch the skin to see them. I dont think theyre a big deal but im no expert

Yes a doctor I guess has seen them but they aren't as obvious when it is soft as when it is hard. And ya there is no possible way it could be an STI
