Hello guys, I'm new but not "new"...I've been reading silently for a few months now. I have a little problem.

I think I have what's called Buried penis....but not in a traditional sense. My penis is 6 x 4.8 while erected. When I'm flacid and standing I'm between 3 inches and 4.5 depending on the weather and stuff like that. The problem comes when I sit down...

.... when I sit down my penis "buries" inside my body leaving only the head visibly. I'm not fat so it's not the fat covering the penis. I saw an episode on Doctor 90210 on E! once (yeah I know hehe) and I guy had THE SAME problem I did..... normal size penis when erect and even when flacid but when he sat down the penis buried. The doctor operated the guy and loosened some ligaments that helped with the problem.

anybody knows about this or has this problem? how can I get this fixed? it bugs me because for example, If I'm standing up naked it's ok but once I sit down my penis size decreses to an inch and I have to "pull it out" to get back to 4", and it's annoying since I don't wanna be touching my package everytime I stand up. I can't wear speedos at the beach because of this too....nice looking package but as soon as I sit down pum, there it goes I look like a girl, and I have to get my hand inside my speedos to "pull it out" once I stand up again...it doesn't look good

    anyone with me?

btw, I uploaded some pictures in my gallery to show you the problem. in the erect picture I wasn't fully erect ( 85%) that's why it's only 5.5" but I just cannot seem to hold the full on erection for the picture.... why's that? camera shy?

I'll second that. I'm not thin by any means but i don't consider myself fat. I'm 6'1 245 i play football in college so i consider myself in shape, and mine does that too. Only mine does it when i do physical activity, Normally when i wear spandex, it'll suck all the way into my body so i can only see the head. But it also happens when i sit down. I'm only about 5.5" on a good day so i'm not big at all so i really know what you mean. I'd like to know if there are any good ways to fix this problem too.

THANK GOD some others admit to this as well. 6 inches erect here and buried inside when soft. I thought I was some sort of freak. When I am hard, I am not inhibited about showing myself. It's a whole other story when I am soft. I guess this is about the most extreme version of "grower" as compared to "shower".

Well, I do get the button look, having it be extremely shriveled and hiding, surgery does correct the problem, but also doing some light PE routines can give you a little extra when flaccid. I have done that and the problem went away till I gained some weight. now its my penis fat pad that kinda hides it. try doing a light PE routine, nothing big, but it might help.

I dont think I would recommend a surgery just to make your penis look bigger when you are sitting down when it is not erect. Even looking at the pictures that doesnt seem like a buried penis. Just seems like a normal penis that just sits on top of the balls.

thank you. Well it's been a "thing" for me honestly. I'm 6x4.8 which is ok, I'm inside the normal size, I've even gotten good comments about my size/looks (maybea girl used to very small penises right? hehe what's there to comment about a 6" penis, but again that shows that us guys give it way more though than girls do.

BUT the flacid size does bug me, specially the "sitting down thing. I cannot wear speedos, or at least don't like to because the package looks smaller than it really is (throw to that that my balls are on the small side, so no extra bulge. I'm not really concerned about showing off, even though it looks like it, I just feel a little bit frustrated that my normal flacid size standing up is so different when I'm sitting down AND that I have to "rearrange" it so it gets back to normal flacid size.

Anyone knows how easy/complicated the surgery is? how long does it take to heal? etc?

See this thread and then download the pdf of, A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR CORRECTION OF THE HIDDEN PENIS IN CHILDREN AND ADULTS by GARY J. ALTER AND RICHARD M. EHRLICH

The cost is about $13,000 ($15,000 if you need circumcision too) if your insurance doesn't cover it. Also be aware that if you want to avoid skin grafting, you should start foreskin restoration right away if you're serious about getting the surgery. From the photos you've supplied, it doesn't look like there's enough shaft skin left to cover the newly-exposed shaft without a graft. Restoration of a few inches of shaft skin should prevent the need for grafts and, if you prefer being circumcised, the doctor can always trim the foreskin for an exact fit. You want to have excess shaft skin before having the surgery. PM me if you have any other questions!

If you have issues like this with your penis somehow being buried in your groin or body and you need surgery, why would you willingly want to be circumcised or have you genitals mutilated on top of all of it? I can understand having the surgery to remove or extend the 'buried' penis but why the circumcision? It's not going to make things bigger, longer or thicker! LMAO

If I read this correctly. This would be in the case of a guy who is already circumcised, he would need to restore some skin back to avoid needing a skin graft and then be re-circumcised once he goes with the procedure. I dont think it implies circumcising an intact male.

It's an elective, "while you're at it doc," kind of thing. In some cases, such as phimosis, it has to be done IF the patient doesn't respond to other treatments or doesn't want to try them. In other cases it's effectively done to avoid the skin grafts. Since the external presentation of the shaft is longer, and that shaft needs skin to cover it, the skin is pulled back to the new location of the base and sometimes that means the glans becomes partly or even completely exposed and the ridged band becomes uncomfortable. In such cases, the patient may opt for circumcision to tidy things up cosmetically or avoid discomfort.
