I recently bought an "anal training kit" that contains two butt plugs: one that's about 3.5 inches and one that is 6 inches. I have never have really tried to stimulate my prostate before (I stuck a finger in there a few times but it was nothing very extensive) so I don't know exactly how it should feel. However, when I placed the smaller plug in I felt...nothing. There was a bit of a sensation but it felt almost as if I kept "missing the spot." Does anyone know what position I should get in order to actually stimulate that area?

My gf and I used to really get into stuff like that. Butt plugs were more for making the person feel submissive or for general kink.

The ol' in and out (with her fingers and later a strapon) is what caused the uber-orgasms for me.

Edit: Doing anything with my ass when I was alone never really did it for me. Probably why I took so long to come around when my gf was poking around.

Can a guy even stimulate his prostate with just a regular plug? I thought a more curved object was needed to place pressure on the prostate.

I read about one last year that has a hollow core and a screw-off cap. As I read in the literature, after much praise about its slick this and steel that, the users has the option to leave it in place for, well, days. The best part though, the copy writer mentioned something about having it "installed."
Installed. That just made me lol. I always think of appliances being installed. like a dishwasher. Or car parts, like a catalytic converter.

Anal training kits are for … wait for it … training your anus. Not prostate stimulation.

They’re made to train your sphincter to relax and accept a foreign object. They prepare you for a cock, dildo or strap on (although some women use butt plugs during vaginal sex to simulate double penetration).

You should get a purpose designed prostate stimulator, like an Aneros. I’ve never used one but there are lots of videos online and many people enjoy them.

I believe you are correct, I use a curved six inch glass dildo with a medium round tip.....hits the spot every fuckin time.
