No...if you can take it easily, then it's time to move up. My medium plug pops right in...but I usually start with it before I attempt to take the big one or my dildo.

With my silicone plugs I have to keep some muscle tension. My butt cheeks around the base help to hold it in too but I'm not confident that it's secure enough to go out in public. Sometimes at home I have "accidents".
With the medium glass one I don't really have to do that. The size and shape seem to be perfect to hold it in. The shaft portion is big enough to keep my hole slightly stretched. It takes slow steady pressure to put it in and to take it out. My hole has to be really relaxed. I've tried to relax enough to make it fall out but so far it won't come out by itself.
