Hi ladies i am just wondering what is it with this so called fashion to show of buttcrack?

Is it because they like to wear low rise jeans?
Or is it more a exhibionistic related thing?
Are you aware of it (and just don't care) or are you aware of it and most of times try to hide it?

Maybe you could give me some clue cause I always think hmm she must feel the draft and she does not care to either pull her pants up or pull her shirt down...

What is your point of view? Personally i think every woman has jeans that will show of some buttcrack in some positions. No big deal. And why is it discusting? What's wrong with a female ass? Adore it.

It's not fashionable it's tacky. Purchasing clothes that fit properly didn't use to require Mensa status. Showing a bit of butt crack has always been a possibility, however with the advent of low-rise jeans it has become de rigeur. Personally I find it repulsive, tacky, and a bit slutty. In theory if it's a young attractive woman it's not so bad; but since women do not appeal to me, it's just wrong. :yuck: Have you noticed that butt crack is now showing not just on PYT's but on thick to obese women as well? Double YUCK! :yuck: :yuck:

IMO clothes that fit properly in attractive styles and colors will always be more sexy than exposing parts best left covered. This goes for men too. I don't want to see your butt crack or your pleasure trail at the mall. Cover it up.

i doubt they do it on purpose...though some might.

my gf has this issue because she has a long body and pants
just do not fit right ever.

she hates it,but i know some guys that actually think it is hot.
(which is why i think she hates it)

it does as much for me sexually as the plumbers asskrack,
well maybe a bit more hot but still,
    nothing there.

it has nothing to do with wanting to show your ass and everything to do with most jean cuts are now low rise and they look fine until you sit down and then your ass shows. This is something you will see more and more when people A) are wearing jeans that are a little too tight and low rise B) buying their jeans at a younger generation clothing store where low rise and ultra low rise is all there is available C) In denial that they might be wearing clothing that looks fine on someone 20 lbs lighter, top is too short and wont stay put properly and the low rise jeans at the same time.

I can hardly find jeans that wont do this when you sit or squat down without specifically finding a store that caters to "women" not young girls and trying on many pair.

Also that 2nd photo is the hallmark skinny girl wanting tight fitting skinny jeans and they are very low rise and her ass wont stay in them while doing physical activities.

I'd also like to put this in the same category as why the "muffin" top is so prevailent. Jeans that are tight and sit low at the hip combined with any body fat create a muffin top. Girls are also in denial of needing any size larger than what they are used to wearing. If they wear a regular womens size 10 jean and try on the trendy jeans they are probably going to need a size 15 atleast with the way their sizing goes. So they are wearing these trendy size 10's and they fit like a size 5 and squish everything out of them.

Ok that's clear. But as you said yourself a buttcrack of a PYT is that repulsive or let me rephrase it correct, not as bad as a thick obese woman.

But how come that women talk about it in the sense of Disgusting etc etc but still there are plenty of women showing of.
And njgt466 for yourself, do you have a particular clothing combination that you have to 'watch out' if you bend over or do you test your jeans in the store when you buy them (bending over and see if it still is safe)..

What do you think, do you think they do it on purpose or is it just really unintended?

    @ praying mantis.

Ok but don't you think that in the average clothing store there are also loads of jeans that do not show off that much? It is hard for me to believe that knowadays all the popular clothing stores only have low rise jeans... On the other hand you know it better because you can emperically test it.. :)

The "low rider-gangsta" look has always has me wanting to go over and pull their pants down...

And a friend of mine in NYC often grumbles about getting a whiff of butt crack on the subway.

Some of the low rider stuff is intended. In jail, you never got clothing that fit. That's where this crud came from. Being' in the 'hood.

And I've always had a good laugh whenever a person with droopy drawers tries to commit a crime and falls over his trousers trying to run off. I've read several examples.

It's far more appealing to see the tops of panties, thong or g=string than butt crack.

Not in the malls where i live. I have to specifically go into stores that offer a section of Women Jeans. Not those god awful mom style jeans. But anymore the low rise is what all the kids want and wear and if you dont want to wear jeans like that you have to look really hard to find some.

All of the stores like Vanity, 5-7-9, Charlotte Russe, etc. all carry clothing sized improperly and catering to the size 000 forgetting that normal women wouldnt look so flattering in that same cut. For example i wear Medium to large shirts in womens clothing, if i go into a trendy teen clothing store that same shirt will have to be an XXL to fit me. They cut them so small even though it says large on the tag. Large trendy tops are more like a ladies small size.

I am a curvy woman, by no means obese or considered fat but when i try on clothing in those stores im up into sizes that sound like they are for obese women (like size 17 jeans for example) and that 17 fits like a size 10 in normal clothing standards.

Anything NOT low rise is considered to be granny cut jeans. And the kids wouldnt be caught dead them. So they are showing ass crack because of it.

Well, I only wish men would stop showing their buttcrack - I mean seriously do you really think this is sexy? Or this? Or this?

No way TinyPrincess.. i find that just repulsive disgusting.. :S

I only like female buttcrack because women have 1000 times a more beautfull body (read: buttocks) than men.

    @ Praying Mantis.

Your story reminds me of a famous Dutch columnist called Daphne Deckers. In her book she once wrote a story dedicated to low rider jeans and said she once tried them on but could not help that her asscrack was showing... She was helped by some employees in a store who could only give her these types of low rider jeans because that was the so called youngster fashion..

I'd feel all weird having my ass crack showing if i werent under 21. Im a mom, i cant be having my asscrack hanging out at the parent teacher conferences ya know?

I wear Dallas cowboy short shorts, but i have toned legs and i feel less whorish than showing cleavage. But ass cleavage is way beyond comfortable for me.

Lately I've been noticing girls wearing pants that actually have an open "V" section cut right into the top center back of the jeans at the top of the buttcrack. It's the weirdest thing because the pants were obviously made like that. What function could that possibly serve besides flaunting a little ass? Is it like ass-expanding protection so you don't have to buy another pair when your ass gets too fat?

That's my favorite thing about low rise jeans.

Whenever I'm feeling my age and cranky seeing some young chicky waddle by with half her arse bulging under her shirt and her sides squished out brings a smile to my face. And all is right with the world again.

I've tried belts, I've tried tighter pants....nothing works.

My ass tries to come out, and I can't seem to control it.

No that is not what i ment. It is not about if I like it (i do ok I admit) but the sole purpose was more of the reason behind it.. why do women wear these jeans?

    -due to fashion supply
    -due to showing of (exhibionist)
    -due to fysical condition...
    you name it.

Sometimes i even see women of 50ties showing some buttcrack. I think this is more of a bad clothing combination than showing of.... But some women like to show of, right? Short top with low rise jeans to accentuate your slim body, or wear some push up bras to accentuate your breasts. For me, buttcrack is just another way of showing of..especially in those cases when it is too obvious....

why do men show crack then?
it's certainly seen far more in men than women where i am, despite the fashion for low rise jeans.
a small number will think it cool but most will simply not be aware of how much slippage there is in their clothing.
my 8y/o boy has to be nagged constantly to lift his trousers up, because he has a tiny butt and trousers just slip down. it's certainly not deliberate or for that matter preventable!

in western society it is deemed polite to keep certain areas covered in public places {beaches occasionally excepted}. buttocks, breasts and genitals. i don't think it suddenly becomes ok to expose just because you're a young, attractive female.

i humbly request that, where exposure is on purpose, such clothing be confined to homes and night clubs, and not paraded around the streets and shops during the daytime, putting people off their lunches.
