I agree on the tacky factor...
even though I buy clothes that fit me... they still don't...
I'm only 5'3" & have a bubble ass...
I have one hell of time finding jeans that can withstand the butt...
no matter what (even tailored) I have a problem with my butt crack sneaking out...
I usually wear a little longer of a shirt to hide when I sit down...
it really sucks... =(

I'm in the same boat too. I buy clothes that fit, but my breasts or bum still happen to show, simply because my breasts are big and my bum is BIG, ROUND AND BUBBLY. :p

And because of my big breasts, I have a hard time finding shirts that are long enough.

ass cleavage is tacky and whorish and is not even on the same level as breat cleavage. there's no way it's comparable to breast cleavage because they are two completely separate body parts!

i understand sometimes women can't help it since low rise jeans are what they are: low rise. however, it can be prevented although most women don't feel it's necessary when it should be.

on the other hand, i make it a point to wear a shirt that conceals my crack, or even a belt to hold up my jeans if they are low rise. that way when i sit, bend over, or kneel my backside isn't exposed for everyone to see.

i also think exposed g-strings and thongs are tacky too, but they are still better than seeing an ass crack hanging out.

But you mean you can't find regular jeans that fit or low rise jeans that wont fit? Once again I think this is not something to be disappointed about. You said it yourself if you want to dress sexy and wear some nice low cut jeans or even normal jeans your crack still comes out. I think that is just sexy and you can't do anything about it. Why should u cover everything up just because there might be a chance of some exposure? And not even a big exposure but maybe a top of a buttcrack.. Who cares that's not so bad imo.

What do you mean exactly. If you want a tight elastic shirt it is obvious that you accentuate your breasts. Or do you mean that your belly gets exposed? And with the jeans i have the same question as for tasteslikejellyjam.

Why is that whorish? A lot of women (not all i am not generalizing) are walking around with push up bras and exposing these female assets. Imagine what will happen if you are a big breasted woman. Should you cover everything up because otherwise men could see your cleavage or your bulge?
I think it is the same because a breast cleavage is also something that you might call for Private eyes only. So if your reason like that you could say that buttcrack is also for private eyes only. But this isnt so. It far more common that women flaunt there breast cleavage. So why then so negative about buttcrack...
I am talking about women who just show a tiny buttcrack, not talking about girls/women who just show almost a few inch of buttcrack. I agree that is for private eyes...

you really can't tell the difference between above the waist and below?

there are topless beaches, where women can expose their breasts, but butts cracks and genitals are still expected to be covered.
ever heard or the reverse?

It's far more appealing to see the tops of panties, thong or g=string than butt crack.

molotovmuffin summed up my sentiments quite well so I'm going to go with her response.

i also think exposed g-strings and thongs are tacky too, but they are still better than seeing an ass crack hanging out.

With CondomFairy on these particular points, too. Some exposure can be playful, appealing and mysterious but when it's overly done it becomes, well, tacky.

That's a good point dolfette has just made.

I think these responses sum up my sentiments on the issue completely.

Well, when I buy a shirt that supposed to fit, my big breasts displaces most of the shirt, leaving less for the lower part of my torso. Meaning the small of my back and sometimes my belly button gets exposed. I sometimes have to go to tall woman stores to look for shirts for women with long torso.

As for pants, because I'm a size 14-16 individual, low cuts does not sit with me. I'd have muffin tops. It's not a problem finding "regular" pants at all. But even with regular pants, my bum decides to show itself. Even with regular pants, as the day goes on, our clothes get looser or tighter which will depending on the time of the day, how much we eat, if we have PMS bloating)... In my case, most days my pants get loose and tend to ride down or if I am at work and have to reach or bend, sometimes the small of my back or top part of my bum shows

I sympathize, ladies. I too have teh booty.

While I can wear low rise pants without getting the muffin-top effect I still find that, even with a waist height waistband, when I bend the pants pull down in the back and my skin is exposed to the cool air. I suffered in shame. How, how, I cried, could I solve this menace of ass crack exposure? Then a friend told me her secret. She had discovered this new fangled contraption that kept her pants in place through the day. It was so sensible, so simple I had to try one and lo and behold it worked!

As a show of sisterhood I'd like to share this secret with you today.

Seriously, saying that it's out of your control is a cop out. When you're trying on clothes you should go through the full range of movement with them on before you decide to buy. Most change rooms have a chair in them. Sit. You're almost certain to have to pick up something off the floor at some point so squat sideways to the mirror and see what's exposed. Raise your arms over your head to see how far the shirt rides up.

I don't understand what "supposed to fit" means. It's your job to determine that it does before you pay for the item. Ass crack exposure might be beyond some-one's level of interest or effort but it certainly isn't beyond any-one's control.

Again, I hate to be rude, but sometimes we can't help it.

I've tried belts.
I've tried pants that a bit tighter around the waist as well as different fits and styles.
I've tried tucking my shirt in, only to find it still comes out when I bend over.

I blame my ass, despite it being a cop out.

Disagreement isn't rude.

I have had this problem but I found that there are pants that won't do this. The cut and the amount of give to the fabric really factors in. It may take some time and testing for women to find them but they're out there. It really isn't insurmountable.

Please keep in mind though that, as the OP asks about women's buttcrack, I'm speaking of women's fashion and bodies. Generally men's clothes are designed straighter through the hips and waist. Men with more booty are going to find that the waist doesn't fit or sit as it should, in which case tailoring (not feasable for some) or suspenders might be the only option.

@ballen59: 'But you mean you can't find regular jeans that fit or low rise jeans that wont fit?'

I hate regular jeans... they fit like shit because I have large hips... so either I have to buy them super baggy or not at all... I do the not at all...

I do low rise because my hips fit & I can get some pretty decent short leg (I'm only 5'3")...

the problem with the low rise is that the top of my crack tries to escape when sitting... its just annoying but I deal with it... just something I can't change because of my size & stature...

finding shirts is totally different story... I can't find them small enough!! WTF...
I'm only a small C cup with a super tiny frame... most shirt tend to be huge... I have got to the girls section from time to time... even petite sizes have changed to gigantic... its a fashion conspiracy against me!

I will have to admit that i dont have much of an ass when it comes to proportion/ratio. So i can only imagine how hard it is to fit a bubbly ass into pants.

I have larger breasts, larger waist, normal ass and muscular thighs. It's such a pain to find something that doesnt hang right off my ass in order to fit it to my waist size. If i try to get it to look good on my ass i end up with the infamous muffintop.

I hate being larger-waisted, i feel like an egg with legs if im trying on anything but elastic band Soffee shorts.

does shit come out between breasts? no. therefore ass cleavage holds no relevance in comparison to breast cleavage.

i never knew people like you were so adament about seeing where shit comes from.

I disagree with you. Tried belts of all kind - still doesn't help.
