Of course you're right. Perhaps by his decision he deprived the vaccine of a person who can get sick working in a socially significant job. But he thinks about his health, the health of others and his boyfriend. Is it really going to make anyone feel better if they will have problems?

I wouldn't wish covid on my worst enemy. But if he isn't making wise choices during the pandemic, that's on him. He has access to all the information as everyone else. He's not the only one thinking of their health, most are waiting their turn & not trying figure out ways to jump the line.

I was upset at first, too -- especially as someone in an eligible group -- but someone pointed something out to me:

You can't even refer to it as "selfish," because if it was, he wouldn't have told others how he got around it. That rollout in LA seems pretty much fucked. I still wouldn't give them a pass for it. In Minnesota, it seems to have gone pretty well, we just can't get enough vaccines fast enough from the federal govt. I guess people need to remember these times the next elections for your local office.

He and his boyfriend went to Québec to spend Christmas with his bf's family and they didn't respect the mandatory 14-day quarantine for travellers even those with a negative covid test. They were posting stories of them in walking around downtown Montréal or sledding and skiing.

They feel entitled to everything and never follow the rules.

Theft, assault, vandalism, drugs, multiple arrests... Cade has always broken the rules and will continue to do so. He has such a personality structure. Nothing can be done about it. But that doesn't mean he's a bad person. He donated $ 2000 to BLM.
