Thanks for the great response to this thread, everyone. It often seems that the average LPSG member has been here all of two hours so it's nice to realize that there is much more continuity than that.

Pecker, my early LPSG experience was much like yours. I lurked for at least six months, daunted by the reigning "in-crowd" which was even then centered around the indefatigable DoubleMeatWhopper. I only made a handful of posts in my initial year, until someone called "halfandhalf" who is no doubt long gone from here struck up a PM conversation with me about how much he enjoyed my few posts. With that little affirmation, I started posting more frequently (although still probably only 500-600 posts in 6 years!)

The first few years the entire site basically consisted of four posting categories: Sex With a Large Penis; Relationships, Discrimination, and Jealousy; Underwear, Clothing, and Appearance Issues; and The Healthy Penis. That creaky old site would also get knocked offline for days, weeks, or even months at a time, causing some members to experience withdrawal far worse than quitting coffee, smoking, or drinking!

Steve

When first joined "Grandpa" and the tall Native American kid (I'm having a senior moment) with all the medical terminology knowledge seemed to be the dominant posters. And there was lots of talk about Y2k going on in the world generally.

That "tall Native American kid" would be jonb. Even his persona is now questionable, as it turns out he was actually in Ohio when he claimed to be in California. Whoever he is, he's a brilliant Google-master nonetheless.

I've been a happy and horny member since about 2000 or 2001. Yeap, rode the wave of several board exchanges. Lost my old tally of post counts. I remember when the group was much smaller with more participation from everyone. Then, seemingly, a massive amount of new people who came here for fantasy, but didn't add anything to the group.

Ahh, been a great voyage, even through rough waters.

Passed through once in 2000. Joined March 19, 2003. Signed up under one name and switched a few times, I don't know if we can do that now. Had to re-sign up in May 2004 I believe and faded away by October due to the atmosphere changing here and I felt less welcomed, then I got hooked on a site with a chat mentioned in a thread here. I went into lurk mode from time to time but didn't find anything to keep me coming back. Re-signed in January and I'm still not around much.

When I first found the place, I was a student but I was busy on another site in 2000 (S-net anyone?). When I joined I was frustrated at not having a job two years after graduation, but had just been hired at a lousy place I stayed with for 2 years until they closed my shop. A former online friend brought me here to read his post and I think I had to join to read then. I posted once in 2005 and didn't seem like anyone noticed so I went away.

During my 2005 absence, the shop closed, had a job lined up just in time for the surprise closing, but left that after not doing so well. A few months later became a temp and sent to the worst company ever and working there has been beyond depressing. I'm happiest when I'm out taking pictures and covering all the new projects going on in my city (one reason I haven't been here much since January). Failed attempts in finding the right job and happiness has reaffirmed my belief that life is more about sufferring and chasing happiness is like chasing the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. But I'll get by and have been. So that's my update and Cliff Notes version. Hope I didn't write too much of nothing. Although I don't belong here either, I won't bother you with it. And now, maybe I'll look around for places to comment while I'm here.

I joined in February 2002; this was after Mark Savage/MisterMark took over the site and moved it to ezBoard (and a few months before ezBoard went pop-up happy.)

The 'gallery' and chat room were over on Yahoo at the time.

I don't remember when I first found this group, but it had to be sometime in early to mid 2001-ish, I think. I remember bilbobagginsx, paulgoddard and others in the chatroom more than once and also one of the few women, who called herself grandedeevah. Anyone else remember her?

I joined in august of 2000. At one time I was an op. I remember an op named Dennis, mark, there was another one who was a young guy in canada. I can't remember his name right now. I think Dennis lived in dallas.

I remember when grandpa died. It was so sad. Sigh I had forgotten about him. Now, I miss him again.
In the early days, you weren't allowed to come on to people in the chat room. You could ask serious questions. I remember one night a chatter came in claiming to be a wife who was distraught because she couldn't accommodate her husband's extra long penis. I told her to climb on top so she could control the depth of penetration. I had forgotten all about that until reading this topic.
Money or lack there of was the reason it kept being moved around. The founding members claimed to be hung. I think Mark claimed to be 12 or 13".
Sigh I wish I could remember more. I went through some major illness that fried my memory. I joined the site trying to find underwear for skinny guys with big packages, that is how I stumbled onto the site.
We used to have a lot of fun. The chat would be kind of dead, and the ops would clown nonstop with each other.

I've also been around for some time now, since about February of 2002 and I've been through many names, let me see if I can remember any of them........well I only remember having the username HotRodRich85. This whole experience through these past 4yrs has been amazing and I only hope for more in the future.

Something for the creaters of this site, are there anyplans to make a splash page for this site? with news and some of the other subgroups on this forum......just a thought/question I think it would be cool to have a nice splashpage with an official LPSG Logo.

Later all

I vaguely remember bilbobaggins or however you spelled it pecker. I didn't private message much with the members. I mainly chatted with the other ops. It was a fun and crazy time. Nobody got hurt and it was just guys clowning around. I think Mark said one time that he used large condoms once to keep his shoes dry when it was raining. hahaha

Being of advanced years, I can't remember the exact date when I first found and joined LPSG. My best guess would be the summer of '02 - - - or I could be wrong.

One other post mentioned one of the early favorites - Finedessert or Grandpa, as he signed all of his posts. He was a frequent contributor and more often than not in a humorous vein. When he passed away it was reflected on the board with concern from most of the membership. I think it was a gal who went by the username Nony that was able to track and find that Grandpa had died.

I talked on the phone to "Nony" (her real name is Carole) over the summer. I've kept in touch a couple of the other oldtimers who are not on here anymore. They've left for various reasons, but it's interesting at how through this board friendships are made and maintained, even when people leave.

I remember June, 2000, when the first posts were made to the "My Penis" subforum. That's what I consider the birth of the Large Penis Support Group that we know. From the top of my head, the only names I recall from back then that would ring a bell with a good number of today's poster are Donk, Max, Ceg, DoubleMeatWhopper, lksbigone, jonb, Ineligible and FineDessert. At that time, there was only one female poster, whose name I forget. This was before Deevah (who was later known as AnonyMs, and then Nony) joined.

A few trivia facts:

The original three ops of the board were Mark (the owner), ralf and slickrick. Later Jimbo swelled the ranks to four.

The moderators appointed by Mister Mark after he bought the site were Pecker, AnonyMs, Max, DoubleMeatWhopper, 7x6&c, DeeBlackthorne, sammygirly, gigantikok and Monstro.

The first troll at LPSG was Doglover, a.k.a. Catlover. He was a sickie who liked to relate stories of mounting his house pets and accidentally killing them with his big dong.

The most persistently reincarnating troll was MaverackStid, who had about eight other usernames.

An event that only old-timers will remember is the exodus of many members over something that I suspect took place in the moderator's forum. What I do know is that most of the ones who did leave were moderators or close to those moderators. The members that left defected to a group started by daBlissMachine, a former member himself. Sadly, Bliss was later diagnosed with cancer, and his site The Banana Lounge is currently inactive.

Another memory from the EZBoard days is the pirate invasion. Some members will definitely remember the pirates!

I hope I stirred nostalgic memories for some of you.

Ok SPoogesicle,

Now you do have to tell me who you are. Did you change your name? I was Inquiring mind first on the EZ board then I joined the Banana Lounge as Hipkitty. (BLiss has cancer?) and now I am Naughty here years later. I remember those folks well. I also talk to Carole from time to time. She has finished grad school and is moving back to her home town. I saw Monstro on here a while ago but he seemed to wish to stay incognito. Arrrrg yes. dont we all remember the invasion of the Pirates and everyone getting their own pirate name for a while. I remember Hapi Papi and how could any of us forget Tender. Of course BBLumbee was there as well at that time. Yes it has been a while. Have you heard anything from any of the other people from Banana Lounge. I know Prepstud talks to Sammy every once in a while....

I'm Commodore Drake, according to the pirate name generator. Apparently I'm a member of Lionel Ritchie's old group.

I got an email from Bliss a week or so ago--it was a mass email that he sent out to a bunch of people, so evidently he's still around.

I had forgotten about Monstro. What's he up to these days?

It's fun to talk about the "good ol' days." My how time flies when you're having fun.

I've loved reading this thread!

Since the day I joined I've been interested in what this site was about and its history. When I first came across it (by way of Google) I thought its name was a humorous way to present big dick porn pictures. (I only lurked in the galleries at first). Since then, I've enjoyed discovering more and more of what it's really about. It's funny to find out that it actually DID start out as a joke.

In this thread, I've loved learning of the history of many of my favorite 'old timers', and learning that some aren't so 'old'!:biggrin1: This site is dear to me now - all of three months after I found it. I hope it will always be as it is now. After reading these posts, I know that it wont. But now I also know that it will only get better!

Wow,

It has been that long? I dont think I have been to the Banana lounge in almost three years now. Poor Bliss. He also was having some issues with an personality disorder as well if I can remember .I have yet to understand but was he part east indian or was his family Hindu ? Has anyone heard from Track Suit Boy aka Michael Stacy? He seems to have disappeared. He was wonderful and his voice was to die for! LOL!
