Now... don't get me wrong. I love show on cam, and love camming with others.

I've never had any problems with people being too bossy or demanding once I am on cam with them, but there is something in the web cam experience which does annoy me. And it's a familiar gripe to those of us who actually do own a web cam and aren't afraid to use it. I like to cam with guys. The implication is that I expect you to have a web cam if you want to see mine. There are guys who are web cam exhibitionists, you'll know who they are because they open their cams for all to see. They won't mind if you want to see their cam, indeed they want you to. But there are also guys who will share the experience with you, and they may be quite put off if you ask them to view their cam without any expectation of having the favor returned. In fact, the only time I've ever felt any demands with regard to the web cam experience is just in this scenario: someone IMs me out of the blue, asks to see my web cam, doesn't have one, and persists in asking although I've said no. It's happened more than once (many more times than once), and it's really, really irritating. Just because someone owns a cam means they want to cam for everyone.
