The orgasm duck voice is not meant for music. Someone should tell him to stoo using his own money to record singles.

:skull::poop: That’s the exact note that did me in as well. Like how did he hear that and think, “Yes, that noise that I accidentally made sounds perfect. Keep it in.” The whole song is that bizarre sound followed by auto tune.

He's going to be broke by the time he's 30. Speculation but I can't imagine his income is what it was 3 or 4 years ago and the must be burning a hole through what he has with the considerable cost of making, producing, releasing and promoting songs that I think he does now without an actual record label - which he foots the cost of everything including umpteen overpaid hangers on who'll no doubt keep telling him he can sing because the longer they can convince him of that like it means another pay cheque for them.

Despite what the internet may say I'd be shocked if he's actually amassed much more than $1m in income altogether over the years since he broke onto the scene as a 'Vine star'. He's well-off by anyone's standards but I'd almost guarantee he isn't 'spend your late 20s onwards splashing out on vanity projects' well-off

If he wants to stay in the showbiz industry he should be focusing quite honestly in behind-the-scenes creative roles because other than his looks he really doesn't have anything else that would justify him continuing to be famous beyond the next 5 years, certainly beyond the next 10. He has opportunity to retrain as a producer or director. He'll get projects and opportunities handed to him that others wouldn't because of his celebrity status. But it seems as if he's desperate to remain in front of the camera.

Hope I'm wrong but I think it's kind of obvious that the people who are advising him to pour his money into releasing music rather than being honest with him that he cannot sing will stick around until all the money he's spent on doing the things they've advised him to do is gone.

Maybe he’ll go the Aaron Carter route and start a porn career once his money runs out. :p

I've considered this and have spammed his social media accounts encouraging him to spend as much money as he can on his next song.

I seriously doubt he goes to considerable cost to make music or promote it. Promo is on social media, the music is simple to produce, and he's not hiring musicians. He's not touring.

You don't have to pour money into recording. Billie Eilish made her album in her brother's bedroom. Lesser celebs with way fewer followers than Cam release music all the time. Their fans want it. Some of Cam's music has millions of streams and plays, btw. It's not a vanity project, I'm sure he's doing it for profit.

Also I guess you have a point, he could branch into other things - though he's doing that with music, actually. I don't think at 25 he's over the hill and needs to move behind the scenes yet.

Yeah, he’s already eaten those costs... these songs were all produced a couple of years ago... mostly amateurs and SoundCloud types using the studio Cameron set up in his house. I don’t even think he released this last one on Spotify or Apple Music or anything, just SoundCloud and YouTube. I’m surprised he even got to retain the songs while he was under contract, maybe they still get some residuals, or more like it’s not even worth it for them.

You can sense all along he’s had some grand notion of doing some sort of tour once he cobbled together enough songs, probably under the Magcon moniker and have some of his influencer tagalongs join in—all those plans have gone to shit obviously with him being iced by the studio and not to mention COVID. I suspect he’d have to self finance something like that or get in bed with some shady producer.

Otherwise, he’s fine financially... he’s got some investment diversification and he’s never been flashy with things like cars and such. For some quick bucks he could always book some international appearances in like Italy, Japan or Brazil where he’s hugely popular. Or just hock some product placement scheme on his Insta if he was really hard up.

He definitely has significant outgoings related to being a 'personality'. These things require far more work than is evident by 9 Instagram videos. There'll be PAs, agents, lawyers, associates, advisers, accountants, consultants etc at various times for one reason or another.
