The Boston bombers were not born in the US.

No. The one who's an american citizen would be Dzokhar Tsaernev. He was born in Kyrgyzstan as it says in red text above.

Why are we letting in Muslim parents that raise Islamic terrorists on our soil? Islam is a cancer upon the earth. Where are all the Muslims that should be turning these people in?

"Rudolph has made it clear in his written statement and elsewhere that the purpose of the bombings was to fight against abortion and the "homosexual agenda." Fuuuck, sorry, wrong terrorist. That's the Christian who set off bombs at the Atlanta olympics.

"The New York Times also reported that "[a] number of people who knew Mr. Dear said he was a staunch abortion opponent", that "[o]ne person who spoke with him extensively about his religious views said [that] Mr. Dear [...] had praised people who attacked abortion providers, saying they were doing 'God's work'", and that "n 2009, [...] Mr. Dear described as 'heroes' members of the Army of God, a loosely organized group of anti-abortion extremists that has claimed responsibility for a number of killings and bombings."[12]"
Fuuuuck, sorry again, REALLY sorry, wrong terrorist. That's the Christian who did the mass shooting at Colorado springs planned parenthood.

"McVeigh was born in Lockport, New York, the only son and the second of three children of Mildred "Mickey" Noreen (née Hill) and William McVeigh.[1] His Irish American[7] parents divorced when he was ten years old, and he was raised by his father in Pendleton, New York" Shit, wait, this is the Roman catholic terrorist who bombed the Oklahoma city FBI building.

Sorry man, I give up. I don't know what's up with these Christian parents raising terrorists, let alone the Muslim ones.

You act as if Muslims are the only ones in the world killing people. We've got more nut job white boys with guns shooting up schools in the US than we have Muslims blowing themselves up.

So are you a giant racist in real life or do you just play one on the internet?

Islam is not a race.

You should go to a Muslim country with your gay pride flag. See what happens. You'll be begging for an American to save your ass.

Maybe you should go waving your American flag, telling them how evil they are, seeing as you are so passionate about it.

I am sure that they would greet me warmly, listen to my concerns, offer me some food and a place to stay because Islam is the religion of peace, right?

I think that would depend on who you were insulting. Go anywhere in the world and if you antagonize enough people you'll come across someone willing to kill you.

Except in your instance, they will throw you off a roof or drown you in a cage just for being gay. You won't have to say a thing. Just the fact that you exist and your gay will get you killed in Muslim country.

So let's be just like those countries then huh? Throw people out for what they believe or where they come from, regardless of any actual threat. I agree with you. The U.S. should become more and more like those Islamic cliphates. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em amiright?

Controlling our borders and limiting immigration is our right and not the same as Muslim countries throwing gates off roofs, drowning them in cages, and mutilating women's genitals. There is no comparison.

Of course not. I'm simply playing along with the absurdity of your arguments.

To the extent that refugees will be trapped in places that do this, it's a direct comparison.

You're willfully complicit in the torture and murder of others. Somehow if it's not directly by your hand, you feel like there's no blood on them.

This is true in certain Muslim countries yes, I'm aware. And it's appalling. What would you say to gay Muslims from these counties seeking refuge in America?

They should be seeking refuge in a less radical country in their part of the world. Barring that, they should contact the Vatican. The Pope can keep them safe behind their walls, oh shit, walls are bad. Never mind.

I seem to remember a certain scandall involving the Catholic Church and young boys. Why are we even letting Catholics into this country anyways? Bunch of pedos if you ask me. Come on man, I know you're for this!

I know its a hard get - a rational Trump supporter - but can somebody please explain to me why they still have faith in Trump regarding the following:

1. The whole Nordstrom thing. A President should not tweet about how a company is dumping his daughter's brand. This is childish and nepotistic. A real President shouldn't give a shit what Nordstrom does.

2. The constant citing of a made up rising crime rate statistic. This is well debunked yet Trump continues to state that we're living in an age of unheard of crime when in fact when compared to the 90s and earlier we are living in a fan-fucking-tastic era of low crime.

3. Trump's constant insistence that anyone who calls him on his buillshit is a "fake news" site. He's talking about sites like CNN, NBC, ABC. They might cover the Kardashians too much for my tastes but I refuse to believe they have some sinister agenda that starts with under reporting terror attacks and extends to "lying" about everything Trump does and supporting it with actual honest to god facts (something Trump and his staff cannot and will not do).

4. Trump's unhinged Tweets. Honestly have you read this stuff? Do you really thing the leader of the free world should be Tweeting like a jaded high school girl?

5. The infamous wall. You do understand how economics works don't you? How tariffs charged to countries importing goods are paid back by INCREASED cost of goods? So WE pay for the wall in the long run.

6. The even more infamous ban. How it targeted countries that haven't actually been responsible for acts of domestic terrorism. The countries that are responsible for them were kindly left out and suspiciously had a large volume of business deals in the works with Trump Inc.?

Fair warning - if you utter the word "snowflake" your opinion will immediately be invalidated. If you reiterate Trump provided "alternative facts" your opinion will immediately be invalidated. If you reference any actual fake news sites as your "factual" support your opinion will immediately be invalidated.

Alright....go!

I think it will be difficult to get anyone to come out in open dialogue when your first sentence openly insults their intelligence.
And that first sentence is indicative of exactly how he got elected in the first place.
There probably are very few Trump "supporters" and more a case of Trump "voters" who felt like it was time for a non politician to take a stab at it, for better or worse.
I voted for him, but I don't particularly care for him. I just dislike him less than I disliked Hillary.
Some of that was implicit bias based on her smugness, but mostly I though Trump might actually WORK, even if he isn't making all the right choices.
So far, he seems to come out of the gate busting his ass, and I can appreciate that.
Most Trump voters I know simply aanted to throw a grenade at Washington, and knew that 4 years of crazyness might be worth shaking it up a bit.
If the Dems had elected Webb in the primary, I would have voted for him in a heartbeat, but they didn't and that's that.
Back to your first sentence; Even though I am not a Trump fan, when people dear to me found out how I cast my vote, they called me a bigot, a racist, a xenophobe, a homophobe, an idiot, a redneck, and more. Some do not want to talk to me anymore.
I am none of those things and its heartbreaking that my "tolerant" loved ones have been so vile to me simply because I exercised the opinion of my free mind.
I probably am not exactly the kind of person you wanted to answer the question, but I gave it my best shot.

You need to understand that the US hasn't got the problem with muslims like European countries do by far. The US barely let in muslims for decades. That's what you need to understand.
Pay a visit to France i.e.. It will change your point of view I bet.

Muslims in general are no bad people. That's true. But LOTS of them still see the medieval religion, that seriously need a reformation, as the only truth. Recent polls in Germany showed that more than 50% of young muslims think that their religion is more important than local laws. That's what you Americans need to understand. You don't have these problems... yet.

Fun fact:
A poll in Germany had barely double digits of % agreeing with Trumps muslim ban. The group who approved the most with 32% actually were muslims. Since the moderate muslims themselves see the problem.

Chrystler - that is exactly the kind of answer I was looking for.

I'll admit my first reaction when I hear somebody voted for Trump is to conclude that they are all those things: bigot, racist, homophobe, ect. Mainly because the most vocal of his supporters are just that. You represent that part of the population who were essentially voting for "anything but another politician" and I can understand that. Politicians certainly haven't been doing a bang up job. Hell I might have voted the same way if the "anything but" candidate had been a businessman I respected like Musk or Brin.

I guess I'm just surprised at how many people could allow his one qualification of being a Washington outsider overlook his vast number of dangerous and non-presidential gaffs.

How do you feel about your vote now - 3 weeks into the presidency and seemingly a protest every other day? Yes he's getting things done but are they the right things? To me it seems his whole focus on "winning" is going to make him fight even the most unpopular (and unconstitutional) moves he makes just because he doesn't want to be a "loser". And that's dangerous.

Lol. Dude, your first ten words say it all. Your post is disingenuous, you don't want dialogue, it's just another rant thread. The posts that followed support that.
