Hey, so long one... I’m a very nervous person when it comes to sex

I’ve been bottoming for a while now and am enjoying it immensely, but I seem to have a problem... I douche which 9 times out of 10 works, but I had one mishap with a guy and it’s made me so nervous about bottoming now.

is there any tips can be given on diet, whether douching works and whether it is safe for my body? If I know that I will be having sex at a certain time and I douche it seems to be okay but if sex is spontaneous then there is where the issue lies lol!

Basically I need advice on keeping and staying clean without having to change every part of my life

Everyone's bowels run a bit differently. Some people are better at particular times of the day. Also sometimes you know ahead you feel off so just don't risk it at those times.

You need to always have a high fiber diet or supplement. Avoid things that will stimulate bowel movements close to play time eg coffee.

If you are clean 9/10 then your douching routine sounds ok.

Just remember your ass is meant for pooping so even when you do everything right, shit can happen.

How many hours before sex should be douching???

I would be aim for half an hour to an hour to give your body time to absorb any residual pockets of water.

Beyond that, the more time that passes the more chance of issues, though once again it depends on your bowels, meal timing etc.

I'd avoid filling up with too much water each flush. If you take in too much water, you can actually stimulate your bowel more and cause stomach pain and explosive diarrhea.

If you are planning a loooong season, medication like imodium can slow your bowel movements but this will leave you constipated for a day or so and essentially you are stopping your body doing something it needs to do.

Some people sears by a high fibre diet and even taking supplements to help with that sort of thing.

to be honest I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Sex isn’t like porn, sometimes things go wrong, it’s doesn’t happen like you want it to and if a top doesn’t expect a little mishap sometimes then he’s not worth the effort.

as others have said a good balanced and 'clean' diet helps enormously to keep you clean with out douching constantly before sex. Lots of fibre especially fruits, veg and salad stuff and drink lots of water too as that helps everything move along properly.

My bf eats well and hardly ever douches, and we have very little issues.

The other thing off course is that 'shit happens' especially if the guy is going particularly deep or vigorously then than can stimulate you or he can just reach the newly progressing faeces in your colon.

Its happened to most tops at some time, I was seeing a new fuck buddy a year ago and the first time we fucked he pooped all over my condomed dick and the bed - it happens and you just have to laugh it off - remember sex is and should be messy.

I don't see the need because, as said, shit happens. Never had a guy dump on me after a fuck though - am I missing out?
My last relationship lasted 12 years and the only time the bf douched was when he wanted to flush out the evidence of a clandestine fuck.

- am I missing out?
.

from my perspective nope you're not missing out - was a bit gross but we laughed about it - me there and then, him some time later when I had convinced him it was ok and told him a bit about preparing. It did stop proceedings on the day though!!

I've never douched in my life. I've used an ear syringe a few times to clean which is the healthier way but those times were the ones when I had an accident.

For me what works if that I just have to listen to my body. I eat very healthy normally, fibrous foods and etc. If you ever feel something is off, 2 pills of activated charcoal are a good solution because it binds everything inside you without making you constipated and without making you go either.

Hope this helps some
