There's only so much holes in human bodies and so much phallic parts.

the problem is not the porn industry.
The thing is, we as a society evolved , to the point that sex is not so much a taboo as it was in the past and people talk openly about it now. On top of that, there's the globalization...people now know what everyone is doing and where and you can go on the internet not only learn but also watch all kinds of crazy shit.

So...

I agree to a large degree here. I do think that the porn industry continues to push barriers for the sake of cash, though. Everything is fast nowadays, it's only natural that porn jumps on that bandwagon with everyone else. It seems that porn tries to remain edgy, but at the end of the day it's just sex with a lot of extras. I'll be honest though and say that I don't care for much of the porn that's out nowadays. I am not into being choked, humiliated, slapped or degraded and I'm not into doing it to anyone else...mind you, I'm not even talking about BDSM, we're talking the normal, run-of-the-mill stuff. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get the appeal of being fucked and abused at the same time.

Yes, porn keeps pushing barriers but, because sex is actually talked about a lot today and shared and regarded as something "normal" and important and not really a sin, it is no longer shocking or innovative.

That's really it.
