Can someone explain the obsession?

I don't know if others have the same "problem", but when there's a guy in the porn industry I like, I get really obsessive and want to own every piece of film and high resolution pics of him I can find. I end up with folders of guys, giving me some feeling of ownership and satisfaction. Maybe like collecting Pokémon cards?

It's probably some insecurity of mine. Was just wondering if anyone else is like that and why someone would have such obsessive feelings.

It happens, it may fill some missing spots in your life (sexual, human closeness, affection, desires,... whatever).

In other words - It’s fine to do this as long as it’s not displacement. That is, as long as it doesn’t stop you meeting others and having sex or closeness or relationships (if that’s what you want) with real people. It’s ok to have fantasy fucks but try not to take it too far. At the same time, don’t beat yourself up about having strong crushes. It’s normal.

Some people can overdo it a little but that’s more to do with personality and conditioning.

I'm in a great relationship for 16 years now, so no problem there. And I don't even "use" my collections (or very seldom) , it's just somehow gratifying to have them. I definitely have my deficits and insecurities, and I guess this makes me feel better about them. It sounds unhealthy, but I don't feel like I'm suffering in any way from it.

I rarely watched Porn at all. Then in early 2022 I accidentally started watching and Im not gonna say Im obsessed, BUT I dont feel I have a need to watch any other ppls porn then the one Im currently watching.
I think it fullfills all my porn needs, LMAO.
However the other day I was at the DMV and a really cute guy came in and I was thinking, "Id love to see him get worked over in the porn I watch"....LOL

The thing is, I hardly watch it either. It's more of just having it. And not just having it, but having ALL of it, at least from the guys I like. Since the days of onlyfans it's become really expensive! At least with studios you could get a decent year's subscription, but now it's just totally blown out of proportion. Sure, you could get a lot for free, but not everything and that's where the compulsive behavior comes in.

I rarely see guys I want to see in porn. I need to move to a different city lol
