Finally, I've bought low-rise jeans and all my regular ones are going unused. I'm short waisted, so it's been great packing my stuff in these new ones. As for getting hardons in them, at my age, a certain amount of manual stimulation is required for full erections, so the extra room is seldom needed. This is probably a good thing!

For me, it depends on how fitted my jeans are. If they are loose I can fully hard; however, I usually wear more fitted jeans and low rise. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable if I get really aroused in my low rise jeans, since there really isn't enough room. Despite that, I still like my jeans that way. Actually, one reason I like my jeans fitted is that it helps prevent a full erection, which is very obvious.
