Spain approved it some months ago, I don't know if they were awaiting further steps before it became fully legal, but it was approved. Yes, let us hope that the rest of the world will shame us into the future!

for years and Raiding the Health care system for years.
But its still better than our neighbors.

So I've heard. Even if it's nationally provided, the level of efficiency is terrible, having to go on an inconceivable wait for even the simplest demands -- x-rays and what not. As for me, I've got some eh health insurance through the university -- go Teaching Assistants! -- and I've got a Zithromax pack on the ready if I get seriously ill. Other than that... um... smiling works.

Our healthcare system is very good.
Free healthcare... you cant get any better then that.
Yes, of course it has its problems, like waiting times, etc, but in general when I have used it, it has been good.
Our healthcare system, of being able to walk into an ER without having your VISA handy is an amazing thing when you look at other countries and how they function. Our healthcare system is one reason I am proud to be Canadian because everyone is pleasantly shocked when they hear how it works here.
