I am trying to get into this series but it feels like it's no Battlestar Gallactica. I'll keep trying. Beautifully produced I must say though.

Agreed. The story line is just, disjointed a bit. Maybe that is the wrong word, even so, it has been a little messy for me.

    Edit: I follow it!

I'm enjoying it. But I could never get into BSG - too dark and claustrophobic.

Plus the Adama men in Caprica are sexy!

I agree with all of this. Caprica deserves some time for it to find its groove, but it is very beautifully produced.

Caprica has got to be the slowest moving, disjointed bunch of mumbo jumbo ever to grace the screen. It's opening theme indistinguishable from a whine, and hour later one wonders if one has seen anything at all.

    I can't stop watching it.

I agree with everything that's been said. Funny. I'm waiting for me and it to find the groove of the story.

I really think I'm going to bail on this show. I missed one episode and now apparently everything's changed. I don't recognize anyone. One thing about good writing is you care about the characters and I'm finding it VERY hard to care about them so far as I did with Battlestar Galactica. It's a shame, the scenes are just gorgeous but none of them fit together in a coherent story.

Yeah, I've lost interest. I watched through last night's mid-season cliffhanger.

The only two characters whose behavior seems to fit over the arc so far are Clarice and Barnabas.

Zoe/The Robot flinching at a lit cigarette after not flinching last week? Graystone behaving that way when he suspects it's his daughter? Graystone's wife just makes me wonder WTF she's even on the show.

    And, finally, a robot?

    A robot driving?

A robot driving a panel truck?

Soldiers with pistols/rifles thinking those would stop a robot driving a panel truck? :wtf2:

That whole thing with the dad and the ring of fire and shooting the dog just too much and then this week....totally incomprehensible except in the minds of the writers apparently. I deleted the taping my DVR. Gone.....gone...gone....
