im just coming off a knee injury and i gotta drop this weight i put on, do you guys know any HIIT cardio routines and weight loss tips, usually i would just hit the bag and do various calisthenics and my weight was never a problem, but all this time off did a number on me.

It's all about what you put in your mouth. Seriously. Calorie deficit is the ticket. As far as cardio... I've said it a million times... Lifting is king. You'll almost always out-eat what you burn doing cardio. Compound lifts, super-sets, short rests between sets. You'll burn way more calories lifting than you will doing straight cardio in much less time. Plus, the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. Muscle is living tissue and it needs calories to live.

I can't speak to weight loss, but there are a ton of HIIT programs out there. I tend to do my own routines, which involve dumbbells. I put together compound movements, like dumbbell squats, dumbbell lunges, shoulder press, etc. I'm not an expert, but I think the idea is to find a balance between working as fast as you can with weights that are heavy enough so that you are barely working as fast as you can. Is that sufficiently vague enough?

Eat clean and don't over eat carbs as in pasta, bread, potatoes, and chips. I call those "smooth foods". Eat your protein and a lot of it. For me it's beef, some chicken, eggs and egg whites, cheese, and cum. Yes I'm bi

I also enjoy protein shakes. My choice is MaxPro Chocolate. Great source of protein and low in carbs

You may want to try the program in a book called "Body for Life." Easy to follow, good starter program, follows HIIT principles, and focuses on the benefits of weight training. Also, easy to follow nutrition. Back in the day when I was out of shape and overweight, this really got me going. I didn't make the progress that some did in the 90 days, but I made enough progress to inspire me to keep going. I haven't looked back since. :)
