You have really long legs!

Hahaha. Yeah, I do. Plus I am 6'4"! Ann Reinking said to me once, "Bobby [Bob Fosse] would have loved you because you are all legs, like me." Talk about a compliment!

Thanks again for even more posts. I'll have to check into that Cisco testing, first I'll have to find classes to take to help me learn it all.

Im in a psych major now, possibly with philosphy and physics minors. I hope to be an MD - either a psychiatrist, GP, or radiologist. If things dont work out, I'll just have to find a career that is stimulating and nuanced enough to keep me interested. Organizational/management areas interest me too. ....Maybe one of those much-hated people who comes in and turns a bad company around, and fires the dead wood?

I write the legal Operational Guidelines (OG's) for the Entertainment Division at a major theme park in Southern California, that happens to be celebrating "The Happiest Homecoming On Earth!"

In other words, I write legal mumbo-jumbo that nobody ever reads.

I didn't go to college after high school (was pretty fed up with anything about school at that time) and signed up with a Construction Company, am a concreteer now, but took the opportunity and am now working on my BS in Structural Engineering in evening courses. When I'm finished with that, I'm not sure yet how I will exploit it... either will get on the planning and project management staff with my current company, or will open my own. We'll see about that when I comes there.

(I tried to do a search for this but it said Premium Members only.) I was wondering what everyone's careers were? I am in college right now and can't figure out what I want to do when I grow up lol. Right now I'm a Computer Science major and I don't know if its the path I want to take or not. If you could just please post your careers and some perks to your workplace and quality of life, stuff like that.

First, I'll say you're to be commended for searching to help make up your mind, Student21. You are considering one of the MOST important decisions of your life. My undergraduate major is Business Management, double minors in history and journalism. My Masters is in Educational Adm and Supervision, plus 21 hours in history. After ten years doing newspaper work, I taught public school for six years, then going into school administration as a principal and ending up a superintendent K-12.

I have no idea what your religious beliefs are, but I hope you believe in God and will include him in your decision making. My faith in Him guided me in making my decisions and I'm thankful for this. He is interested in your taking the correct steps in this important decision for your life and is there to help you. Best wishes for a rich, productive and enjoyable life, my friend.

Goon: I'm a Realtor. I invest in real estate as well. I run my own show and the money is insane! People use the words "successful" and "rich" to describe me, all I know is that I'm free. I'll never punch another time clock or answer to a "boss" again...God help me. I can travel wherever I want, whenever I want. Thanks to electronics, I can work from anywhere.

My college degree is in Psychology, which I use in my everyday job of raising 2 boys. It comes in handy...ha/ha.

Once my youngest is in school, I'd love to go back and get my Masters and teach at a Jr. college....I think. I'm still debating on it. Can't quite figure out for sure what I want to do when I grow up.

It's sad that the vast majority of us are limited to one, maybe two, occupations in life. I have had three, but have three others that I would love and enjoy doing. Typing this makes me think of a new thread I'll begin now. Later :D
