SweetDiane: Hi, my name is Diane, I am 21, I post my first message to congratulate Whopper (controversial Whopper) for his laurels : he can be so sweet and I think he deserves the award. Or at least he deserves it for his 1 thousand 2 hundred 3... postings. (Nice muscles - if that's you, LOL ; such a pity you're not str8  :D).

Next: I am in love with 2 of the guys: Raal Lexx and Deeblackthorne. Dee is so passionate, very educational, perceptive, talkative, inviting. I imagine he is great as a friend, warm, powerful, agreeable. I visited his web-site, I saw his photo - he's really lovable.
Raal is thrilling, he is so refined, erudite, elegant and cultured. When I read his replies, OMG, all I can say is "he has so much style and class". Gosh, a day next to him (live!) is something don't think I'd forget. Sammygirly, I think he's the sexiest too.

AnonyMs and Sammygirly, if I could only have 2 sisters like you! you're wonderful. The same words go to wvalady1968 and her cute avatar!

A special kiss to 7x6 and to Pecker who makes me laugh.

NOW, you all go back to LPSG and do the job you do, keeping its great ambience.  :-*  :-*  :-*

sammygirly: Welcome to the land of posters!

You are absolutely right about Dee.  He is a powerful and compassionate personality, intensified as a friend.  I don't know about agreeable all the time, but I wouldn't trade him or his opinions for a hundred other men  ;D He's honest.  Keeping it real as he'd say (will get razzed about that one later, my 'homey' lingo isn't quite up to Dee's speed LoL)  Anyway, we all know I love the guy.

Hope to hear much more from you SweetDiane (mwahaha ANOTHER woman fellas...it's a trend)

Javierdude22: Wow...see, it's impossible to skip a day or you'll find four new topics in the Etc. Etc. section  ;), and is it just me or is this one of the most active sections at the moment?!
Who would have thought that would happen?!

Ok this is hard...when you think about it, it seems that everyone fills so many roles. Let's see...

Sammy is the cool chick who you can turn to and not be judged.

Nony is the cool and loving friend who will share her love, knowledge, and hope with you.

Dee is the educating philosopher who shares his selfreflection, making others do the same.

Gigz is the impulsive and sometimes sturdy one, with a strong opinion, and always thinking out loud... ;)....but, very honest, and open to new thoughts.

Hm...theres so many more i realize now. I'll add more later..

And so it became 'later'

Hapi is the honest strong-opinionated one. You're quite open about how you feel, and very principled on your values. Great on ya man.

The political debaters are of course Gig, but i enjoy the readings of Longhornjok and Mindseye a lot too. Very insightful and to the point.

But of course there are so many people who's posts do much for me, Monstro, Prepstud, Throb, Blo1988, Jackinman, etc etc...the list goes on. Let's just keep doing what we do ;)

Damn, this is the 4th time I put down some names, believing I can vote, and then I delete my entire message. :-[ (this is for embarrassed, not for ashamed)
I cannot chose. I simply cannot. And, in what I am concerned, it's better.

I agree with many statements above. I would add Max to "most educational", next to Dee (whose site I secretly browsed and - SweetDiane, you are so right :)). I would add "most feminine and sensitive" to Nony, "most cheerful" to Sammy :) As for the rest, I wouldn't change a thing. Maybe add a list of 40 other names that I would like to mention ;) For I said enough in my long-long message the other day. :-*

inquiringmind: Thank you, Monstro

My inclusion on your also mentioned list was quite heartwarming. It really made me feel welcome having been part of the group for less that a week . After reading the voting lists, I am going to have to check out these particular individuals' posts in the future.

Ye cannot dispute that my dear DMW...;)
[/quote]

I could, but far be it from me to enter into a controversy! ::)
Actually, I interpreted with a secondary meaning: "stirring up shit simply for the joy of stirring up shit." A valid definition of the word, but clearly not the one you intended. Je m'excuse. I guess if one has very strong opinions and stands by them, controversy is bound to find him, n'est-ce pas?

7x6andchg: Exactement, Double-Viande-Royale-Avec-Fromage

(so I don't know the French word for Whopper....I ate at McDonald's while in France)

*waits for the gunfire to subside* (You ate WHERE while you were in France?)

I'd have to give Hapi Papi some props as well, for the most "stick-to-your'guns" poster. I know he had some trouble on here in the beginning - I'll never forget the weekend I came back and all of a sudden there was a feudin' and a fightin' goin' on. But he's stuck to it and I couldn't imagine the board without him. Great on ya, as was said above, my friend!

As for most supportive - well there have been a few crises in my personal life that have happened since I've been a posting member of the board, and I got the most support (usually through IMs, but not always, and by no means exclusively) from Sammy, AnonyMs, Monstro, throb919, and Hapi. After all, this site is about support...and not just supporting my endowment.

And I, too, would have to give Raal his due for being one of the classier and most worldly people on the board (not that there aren't others) - I see Notre Dame and I cry, figuratively, sometimes - because I loved France and dearly want to go back. My experiences there were beyond compare. ;D

For most helpful with sexual issues, I think some "shouts out" should go to geo 8x6 and again, Nony. Sometimes it is so easy to forget that our phalluses (phalli?) have a counterpart and those who possess said counterpart, their opinions are always welcome. As are the opinions of those that some of us would consider "not so vanilla" in a sexual manner of speaking - variety is the spice of life, and those of us who remember that more readily can often teach us something.

And by the way - speaking of knowing Gone With The Wind - inquiringmind and GreenEyes - are you ladies planning to make that thread AS long as the book? ;D

Back with more as I think of them.

bblumbee: As so many of you have stated, this is a virtually impossible task to endeavor - who would have thought voting would invoke so much deciphering (DMV, I hope I spelled this correctly!).

I don't know many of you, but I have read many of the threads and the thought provoking responses many of you have given. I think you are all fabulous.

I do have to give kudos to Dee... he is truly one of the most interesting men I have met. Like a couple of others, I would love to sit and have dinner with you - my treat of course. :)

Sammy and Nony, you ladies have truly paved the paths of acceptance for us here. Your insight, your wit and your commentaries are both educational and humorous. Keep up the good work.

For the sexiest.... hmmm... I need to check out the old pics to see where my vote would lie... but, if the ladies give you there vote, Raal, then I second. :) However, there is a gentleman here whom I have seen who seldom post anything but would definately fit into this sexy category. -He knows who he is.

And Pecker... you are truly one of the most humorous guys I have met here. You are a bundle of laughs but you are also one of the most welcoming individuals this board could have. You are a sweetie.

Now, for the 2 North Carolinians... add me in your bunch! Who knows, we could, afterall, be neighbors. ;)

Gracious, I wrote a novel! Anyway, congratulations to you all. I look forward to many more laughs, chats and of course, commentaries about the 'plays of life.'

France is a nice place but after the whole Iraq thing I am a little apprehensive about traveling there anytime soon. *jumpin off soap box with that*

*Back to flirting* Well, I was thinking it was getting a little bit long and boring for others but now that you brought it up I think it might be a good idea if I keep writing in there. ;D

Lol, I'd play the good cop cuz I'm such a big softie! :D (Badumching)

Actually, i really don't know which I would be, maybe we could rotate. You be good cop one day, and bad cop another day. That could work. Now all we have to do is a find a robber... ;)

GreenEyes: Well, I do say I am giving you first choice in the matter. I do like the idea that we can rotate positions. It makes it far more interesting. Now let's see a robber. Hmmm that might take a while before somebody decides to committ a crime. We might be out of practice when it does transpire.

Oh! I have it......

Forget

the Robber

We

could practice on each other.

So who goes first as being the bad or good cop and who will be the criminal that will have to be handcuffed to a table unable to move. Then the criminal legs are spread eagle against the wooden chair. Slowly the robber is stripped searched and nothing is left to the imagination for it is in clear sight. Tugging ever so the cop takes pleasure in teasing the robber as he/she strokes over the body. Then slowly undressing him/her self in front of the robber only with a utility belt on of toys. Of course the cop has to search every inch of their skin to make sure nothing is hidden. Then the cop realizes that he/she needs to do a closer examination or taste test and a body search might be required.

Hey what do I know. I can't seem to figure out who is the good cop or bad cop in that situation. Well, I guess we might not need the practice and we will wing it when the next offender comes along. :)

I have a feeling I can guess his identity ... I will leave it to you to judge his sexiness ;) but if I am right I will certainly endorse his thorough niceness ... and I can only regret he doesn't contribute his wisdom here more often.

bblumbee: Hi Max,

Good to see you... it has been a LONG time.

You are correct (like you knew you were) about this certain guy. I, too, wish he would post more here. He has truly opened my eyes to new perceptions about men, life and all those other things that go along with it.

Oh, and the sexy part, WELLLLLLLLLL.... let's leave that to me! ;)

Velcro_Avenger: okay, how about "best IM buddy"? of course this one will be totaly subjective but i think the IM box is an important feature of this site.

throb919 sent me my 1st IM with words of encuragement and some insight into my less than warm welcome. i appreshiate that.

dantesco has sent me messeges that are funny and show a flare for the languauge. he is not the dumb jock he clames to be. i value highly his IM correspondence.

but my #1 is the same dude i voted for as LPSGer of the month. i knew he was a frendly guy from when i seen him in new orleans but he made me feel especialy welcome here:
You don't have to be a wordsmith to belong here, dude. Post what you feel; we value honesty here. Be real. Be you. So you're a quiet guy; so what? When you have something to say here, say it from the heart and someone is sure to appreciate your openness. We are, after all, a support group and there are members willing to lend that support.

that made me feel, uh i dont know if worthy is exackly the word i'm looking for, but i got the feeling that there might actualy be a place here for me.

if you use the IM i'm sure you have your own favorites.

Velcro! Dude! SSSHHH!!! You trying to blow my cover? How can I live up to my reputation as an insensitive, self-centered bastard if you carry on like that?

You're right; it is a very subjective matter. I've enjoyed e-mail correspondence with Bob (FineDessert), Radu (Raal Lexx), and Francisco (Muxhakaenixo, whom some of you remember), and have valued those friendships. I have shared many IMs with Dantesco, jackinman, you, Jo-Jo, txqis, jay_too, Tony (throb919), Paul (7by6etC), ViewFrom Below, Dag, enanotitan, gigantikok, and others. I have received IMs from Nony that are absolute gems (thanks, girlfriend! ;) ). After an initial butting of heads on the board, Sammy showed her incomparable class by suggesting a truce via IM. I've received a few messages of thanks and encouragement from our fearless leader Mark. I'm a busy man in the IM box, and it's impossible for me to choose a favourite.
