I drove past a pet groomer today and there was a sign advertising CBD treats to help pets relax.
I had no idea this was a thing.
Dogs had a back yard once to eat a little bit of grass, roll around, cats had a tree to scratch on....there was usually one owner who stayed home, always a familiar sound of humans, walking around and the scent.
People forget a dog day is 7 of ours. A cat day 5. My suggestion is you ask the question before taking on the responsibility. What can I do for this animal, not what the animal can do for me.
Also, drug companies have realised a growing market. Veterinarians once told you to feed your dog right, now, it's blood tests and drugs. Dogs and cats live no longer than they always have, they are living the same time, less happy, drugged up.
Humans are mirroring human life in their animals. Pets are becoming depressed. It doesn't take a great deal of observation to see this.
