This is an absolutely great story. being a former hockey player myself (never at the professional level though) this is very close to a reality. i always dreamed something like this would happen when i was in the locker room. i am glad to see i am not alone in this fantasy (or is it a fantasy?) thanks for posting.

Hey Motorcityboy... I'm watching the overtime period of the seventh game in Chicago... I remembered this story and thought I would give it a 'bump' in honour of a hard fought game.

I thought Detroit should have won, but Seabrook just scored and it's all over. Better luck next year
