Cell Phone question.

I was looking into getting a new phone, does anyone know if unlocked phones for other carriers work well with Verizon?

I was going to a Sony Ericsson because it had good reviews, but they were reviews from the people who had the carrier it was for.

Does anyone know if unlocked phones work with verizon? Any problems or anything?

I don't know about the US cellular system in any depth but unlocked phones in the UK work on any network, except one (Three) on which some don't but I believe that's not a technical reason but a business one on their part.
