I'm going to go with somewhat of a contrary opinion here (and again, just my opinion)...but I don't think An American In Prague, in hindsight, is the classic it has been made out to be by so many.

Yes, Chance is good looking and well endowed, and as someone pointed out, very much gay for pay. I don't have a problem with that. But, he seems totally uncomfortable (because he's in a foreign country?) and the sex throughout the movie is...not good. The threeway is the highlight of it all. Johan doesn't bottom for Chance (it's so obviously faked), the sex "sounds" are dubbed with generic noise, and this generation of Bel Ami guys (with some exceptions) really could not suck a dick to save their life (granted again, the majority were gay for pay from what I understand).

I loved AIP when it came out. Rewatched an old VHS copy recently and Christ has it dated!

1997 doesn't seem THAT long ago to me, what's 16 years?, but things have moved on apace, in porn as in everything else.
