Hi everyone

Here is my problem, for too long, I live almost like a hermit, going out only to go to work, to do my races and sometimes to see my family. I spend my time sitting on the couch, playing the console, watching TV or masturbating. I don't take enough care of myself, I don't exercise, so I got fat and have pain worthy of an elderly person.

I would like to change, maintain my body, have better skin, set goals, and masturbate less (I'm a compulsive masturbator) to finally have a healthier life and meet someone.

But I don't know where to start and I can't find enough motivation. Have any guys here ever changed their lifestyle for something healthier (mentally and physically)? What are your advices ?

Thanks :)

Find a gym. That's the best advice I can give. I live alone, but I'm never lonely. I go to the gym a couple of times a week. I used to go more often, but now I'm just trying to maintain.

When your physical self is in a good place your positive mental health usually follows. Feeling good about your body and yourself gives you a positive outlook.

I've met some very good people at the gym, and I'm not talking about lovers. We have a common goal and that's to keep fit. Yes, there are a whole bunch who go there to see and be seen. Those are not some of the very good people I've met. In fact, I avoid them. You quickly come to understand those who are high maintenance.

And when I say find a gym I mean see if there's an option for a personal trainer, someone who can guide you to your goal.

And don't kill yourself. Take your time and try not to be discouraged with the lack of results. They'll come in time. Your immediate goal is to be active and develop a healthy routine.

Like I said, I live alone. I got divorced for the second time, and I was pretty depressed. She had cheated on me, and I felt like a fool. I was going down the same route as you. I kept myself locked away and all but gave up. I almost lost my job because of my crappy demeanor.

I don't even remember why I even tried the gym, to tell you the truth. I just knew I had to do something. The guy behind the desk was great and asked all the right questions. I didn't have all the answers, but he put me in touch with a trainer for 30 days. That was included with the membership. I took him up on it. I think that was an important step to set me in a direction.

mentally train yourself...
everytime you have to urge to masturbate, do other sort of physical activity, and then reward yourself with a cumshot

And if you're too tired to masturbate after the physical activity, well win win win... you did your physical activity, getting healthier, and curbing your masturbation habits.

or maybe what you need is chastity?

I saw a quote that said life has no remote (control) you have to get up and change it yourself.
@ronin001 is correct, admitting you want a better life is the first step. That really may be the most difficult step.
Set achievable goals. Walk one kilometer or just walk around the block. Take the stairs. Eat more fruits.
Good luck.

The advice to join a gym and get a trainer is perfect. With the trainer there, you get both an education in what your workouts should be like, AND a friend to talk to and keep the focus on the training not your self-consciousness about being new to the gym.

also paying for something makes you feel accountable because it's your job to get your value's worth
