Sheets are changed every Saturday morning (unless something happens during the week that requires the sheets to be changed wink, wink) and towels are used once and off to the laundry they go.

If you live in humid warm climates as I do, you invest in a good washer AND drier. Lots of poeple think clothes driers are unnecessary. Those same people do not have allergies.

But in humid climates it's rare that I usually use the same towel, wash rag, ect., more than oe day before washing it.

I usually do at the very most two loads (of washing) a week. I don't think I would retain what sanity I have left if I had to wash things daily.

I haven't owned a drier for ten years. In the summer months the cloths can take all day to dry if there is no breeze. But then, that's not my problem is it? My housekeeper drives out the remaining moisture with a hot iron. Not drying is sooo much easier on your clothes too.

Bed sheets get changed on Mondays and Thursdays and so do the towels. I reuse the towels because I figure I'm clean when come out of the shower, so what's the harm? It saves water and puts less phosphates into the sewers.

This. What's this one use and done shite? Do you guys not use soap and a wash cloth?

Towels are 4 or 5 uses, unless I go to the pool, in which case that is a one use job as I tend to chuck them on the floor when drying my feet. Icky pool floor towel not going near my precious pretty bits, no way, no how.

In the winter I wear pj's and am not that sweaty - bed sheets get changed when they need it - that could be 2 weeks or 4. Summer they also get changed as needed but that's a bit more frequent.

Towels - every Sunday.
Bedclothes - when they need them. Usually, this amounts to once a month or so... maybe three weeks, maybe five weeks. It depends on the "usage" they've been getting.
Guest bedclothes, however, get changed after every use. I don't wanna make my friends sleep on other people's used sheets. That just ain't rite.

Clearly I am a filthy pig. I wash my sheets every other week and change my towel every few days. I mean, I'm drying a freshly washed body.. and I wash the sheets when I wash my clothing, which is about every week/week and a half. :biggrin1:
