Changed friendship after nudity?

Most of my close friends and I have been naked in each other's presence and frankly, I find that friendships are stifled a bit by those who are timid about nudity. I don't care one way or another, but I do find that I have much more open conversations with the buddies with whom I've shared nudity. It's certainly not about sexual innuendo.

Buddies and I pile into the sauna together, plunge into the lake in the summer together, and some are just fine stopping by for a beer and leaving their shoes and pants at the door. Some are well hung. Some are not. No one really cares.

I've been naked with quite a few mates over the years. One totally straight - we would go to a Turkish bath together ever so often and never wore a thing for hours - it was all good. Been naked with many of my gay mates too - some in a non sexual situation (nude beach / pool) and others in a gay sauna. Sometimes it was planned, some others I ran into. In all cases, happy to say it never impacted our friendship at all. In many cases it was just another fun activity we could do together. I still go to nude only sauna sessions with a few of them too. Sometimes we carry on the nudity back at our homes. It's all about feeing good in your own skin and relaxed with mates.

I couldn't agree more. To me, comfort with nudity among male friends in appropriate situations is a normal part of manhood. I can't imagine how this could hurt our friendship in any way. If anything, the bonding experience strengthens it. I've been naked with most of my male friends, gay and straight. Part of knowing someone is knowing what they look like. For friends with whom I've shared nude experiences, this includes our dicks, so we have more complete visual memories of each other.

I live in Queensland where it is very hot in summer so it is usual to be just in a pair of footy shorts, boardies, undies or naked around the house and garden just to keep cool. Its a way of life here. All my gay mates get naked in the pool or spa or at the beach and once the clothes come off they tend to stay off, until you start to burn!

That sounds wonderful - I'd love to live somewhere warm enough to do that all year long. Sadly the weather in London isn't like that most of the year. If I'm ever lucky enough to have a pool/spa/sauna etc. if my mates visit, total nudity is the only option! It's the best way to use them.
