He probably shouldn't have admitted that the weekend before the movie opens. But Channing Tatum is hot enough that he can still be sexy without getting naked.

Damn. As I stated before in this thread. Why in the hell would you have Channing Tatum star in a film about exotic male dancers/strippers and you don't have him or anyone else nude? WTF. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Also disappointing is the fact that this was originally going to be exclusive to HBO Max. The director wasn't even going to take advantage of that at all? We still have Channing in his prime. Let's take advantage of it

With that said. I think women have been sold this line that male nudity is not sexy, but instead being sensual is. Which explains Steven's comment in the article. And why male nudity is still taboo a bit.

It's crazy because Channing Tatum just showed his ass in "The Lost City" (a PG-13 movie!) last year. I think this happened because of Soderbergh. I think he wanted this movie to be less of a party movie, similar to the first "Magic Mike". XXL was a lot more fun but not as well received by critics.

This seems to be a pattern nowadays xD
They hype the movie to high heavens and a week before release the director or actors say or do something that basically kills the movie before it even premieres.
