I worked on the first season of Two and a Half Men, as a script extra. Charlie as also been a personal friend for almost 15 years. He is a very nice, gentle, and free spirited guy. He is not like the character he protrays. Though he's had his fun with high class call girls. He's a devoted father and new husband, who's been put through hell by his ex Denise. She by the way is also a very nice woman. It's sad the divorce turned so nasty.

The others on the show, John and Angus are also nice guys, John and Charlie have been friends for years since the movie Hot Shots they did together. Angus is very professional, and can also be a little terror on the set, but in a fun way.

Miss Farrel ( housekeeper) is like everyones mom on the show, she is so funny and lovable. Marin (Judith) is nice but keeps to herself. April (Rose), I don;t know her too well, but she seems like a nice girl.

My point is don't judge people you don't know based on what you think you know about them from the media. That is ignorant and immature. Charlie doesn't not smell of booze and hookers.

Charlie AND Denise always seems like nice people to me, and i agree about the media preying on their divorce. It is just like Paul McCartney and Heather Mills; the media love a bad guy.

I guess people automatically associate Charlie HARPER, with Charlie Sheen in terms of their lifestyles.
