i watched a documentary on CS just a couple of days ago on telly, and most of what's being said on this thread is actually really ignorant because it's all based on hoopla.... charlie knows what he is doing, and i think his ex wives have actually hurt his career more than he ever could.... i don't think he's on drugs, but i think he runs with a crowd of people who make us think he is because well.... they're pretty fucked up people.... the 'two and a half men' fiasco was nothing more than a very publicly aired professional dispute, and i think charlie left the show at just the right time.... given how TERRIBLE the show has become since he left, i think charlie saw it coming and tried to stop it but couldn't.... something to do with the writers getting shuffled and the humour becoming waaaay too crude.... even angus jones went public with that, and you don't see him on the show much anymore....
on top of that, since joining the cast of 'spin city', he never missed a day of work, had no run-ins with the law for felonies, has been a totally devoted father, and made TV executives (and his co-stars) a KAJILLION dollars in residuals from his re-runs.... when ashton kutcher replaced him, he actually got more money than charlie and then subsequently tanked the show.... charlie, on the other hand, went from gold to more gold with 'anger management'....
as much as we want to diss this guy, we have to give him credit for giving us about 30 years of hit films and tv shows.... yes folks, it really has been 30 years....
