Charlotte Nc - Gym With Open Showers

Anyone know the best gym in Charlotte that has open showers and/or a sauna? Preferably one that allows guest passes.

Dowd YMCA does. I don't know what it looks like now with COVID though. Open area showers in the back with nude hot tub if you want. Two saunas and two steam rooms. Pretty cool experience prior to COVID. May go soon to check out again and work out.

I was in town visiting this past weekend and hit up Dowd with a guest pass

it’s definitely operating pretty normally. Was able to use/access the whirlpool, saunas and steamrooms. And of course the open showers

only thing is they don’t provide towels, you need to bring your own. Which, coming from out of town, I didn’t know. Oh well I just had to walk around butt naked the entire time lol!!

While I haven't been a member for 8 years, I'd steer clear of any play at the Dowd... It's super busy and I've never seen it cruisey... just my opinion.

I've driven past Eros a few times but haven't tried it. I just couldn't relax stressing about the place getting raided. This is NC and in the middle of the bible belt.

Went back recently twice and there is a sign that says swim trunks are required now. Maybe about 25% of the guys went nude.
