Thanks to the administrator of this site for adding a Chat Room. Hopefully people will use it... I am able to access it just fine.

You don't need one. Just click the "Live Chat" link in the upper right corner beside the "Gallery" link and wait for the page to load. You might want to disable any pop-up blockers for LPSG.org just in case. It takes a few moments, but the room will finally load.

This might help.

Type "/beepall" while you're in the room, and the chat window will beep when a new message arrives.

There is also a visual mode, which you access by typing "/visual", but in my browser, it works a little too well -- creating a new window every time a new message appears! On Windows machines (which I suspect is where most of the testing took place), your mileage may vary.

I find the chat room too slow. Too bad as it's a good idea. Why is getting a chat room people can use SO HARD?? Or is it my pc?
