I can get in ok, etc, but every time I visit chat, I never see people there who post often. Do the otherwise very verbal posters avoid the chatroom? I'd sure like to run into many of you chatting online one of these days:smile:.

I use the chatroom a lot as well as post on the forum, but I find that most people either use the chatroom or post. I enjoy commenting on the threads but I prefer the chat room where everything's a bit more immediate and quick.

Thanks for your reply Princess...One man there said that posters were working through 'issues', chatters were in the here and now world...i.e. posters were farts, chatters were something else. It must be the ever-evolving world of cyberlife?

LOL..well I dont use the chat room as I don't want to meet men from USA, and most of them are on there are not Australians.

I like forums where I can choose when and what to answer and how much time I need to dedicate to it.

I have LPSG running sometimes In the background as I do work, so I can not always chat and keep up.

I have also had really rude guys swearing at me and PM'ing me then abusing me for not typing quick enough etc...I don't like it at all actually.

I would however use it often if it was directly connected as a webcam chat room, as that would sort the men from the boys, so to speak. I hate not knowing who i am chatting to. I only ever use chat rooms where people are also on cams.

    xx

    Honey

I've found the chatroom to be for people who want to get off NOW.

Jason....they just want to blab and blab!!! It's as if adolescents rule the online, immediate chats. I wish that non-adolescents were a stronger, blabbier, aggerssive group!

Some chat...but most just sit in there like bumps on a log and dont say anything.

I need an Eject button...I'd clean the lurkers and bots out quick

I enjoy both chat and posts. In fact some of the people I have met in the chat room have helped give me good ideas for fictitious stories I have posted.

I like both connecting in the chat room as well as the feedback from posts.

I do not appreciate lurkers. I like to think of this as a community where we share and communicate. Some may be shy and slow to engage -- that I respect. This is supposed to be a support group where we share -- lurking is not what this is supposed to be about.

I have also benefited from some private messages giving me feedback on my fictitious stories. So, I guess I engage in and enjoy three methods of connecting with fellow LPSG members -- chat, posts and private messages.

The one thing I have not done is post photographs. I don't think I would/could add much to the community in that regard. My avatar is my only form of visual expression at this point. :biggrin1:

Usually people do one or the other.. if nothing is going on on the forum, I'll go to chat.
