Not exactly news, but then every media outlet is biased in some way even if they don't mean to be. Even deciding what to cover and what not to cover is an act of discrimination and inherently political. SNL has always skewed left though I argue that it's political impact had diminished greatly until this last campaign.

Obviously SNL was behind Palin being chosen to run for VP so that her astonishing ignorance could be mocked. Who knew that Lorne Michaels had that much power!

Maybe the GOP should stop showcasing such clowns and exposing them to public ridicule.

Conservatives hide behind the 'liberal bias' label when the heat gets to hot in the kitchen. Also if there's a democrat anywhere around everything bad is his fault. And everything good is because of Reagan. Even when Clinton was in office his good economy was because of Reagan's earlier groundwork. And Bush's bad luck was because of Clinton.

Not news. SNL has been leftist since day one. It's been what? Thirty years?
What he said wasn't news to me but him saying it was. The candor surprised me.

Likewise for Chris Mathews. What he said at 2:25 was no surprise to me but him saying it was.

Dismissing the fact that the president has EDIT: FAR less economic power than everyone likes to think...there is actually truth to this statement, but...

In the end it doesn't matter, because it was mostly Greenspan. The whole damn time.

Learn something about economic lags, please. They can operate on the order of decades.

Greenspan? What? Greenspan didn’t make laws, Congress does and could have prevented this mess long ago if they were doing their jobs.

Wow...laws? Who needs laws when you have the full power to regulate interest rates, cash reserves and essentially the entire financial market? And when you are one of the govt's chief advisors on economics as well?

Yeah, they could have. But the Fed was against it.
