Checking CONDOM Expiration dates

Just wondered how often you guys check the expiration dates on your condoms?

Do you have anything special that you do with the expired condoms? It feels like such a waste to just throw them out.

GIANT waterballoons.....but it takes some skill in effectively launching them without having them bust all over you. That was always our favorite thing to do in the dorms.

Also another fun trick is to fill them with baby powder and put them on the tailpipe of a friend's car as a prank. It's fun watching them explode and seeing the reaction of the car's owner.

This is especially important with condoms that you get free at health clinics, at school or in bars. Also, make sure you go through your travel bag frequently.

An expired condom is the number reason why they fail.

Hahaha agree as well, what sfor the expiration for. I dont check them... as long as its still good and enjoying my sex...

Yea the majority of the ones that were expired this go around were ones I'd gotten for free, though that was several years ago. I hate throwing them out, but I really don't want to risk getting anything, especially since I need them to be full strength, since anal sex is way riskier in the first place and is tough on condoms.

I especially check the ones that I carry around with me, as I don't want them to degrade by age, heat, moisture etc, since sometimes they don't end up in the best environments, but its impossible to keep them away from heat and everything all the time, when I want to be sure that I have them with me.

If I had a boyfriend or a buddy, I defiantly wouldn't have to worry about expiration dates at all, we would more have a problem of spending like a 100 bucks a month on condoms and lube.

Last time I visited my urologist I picked up some condoms from his "free" jar. They were Lifetyles and some of the dates dated back to 2006!

I guess I'll use those just to jerk off in. LOL

I buy mine new and use them soon enough to not worry: some of the pranks can be pretty good. Unroll them and spit in it and leave it in someone's bed, use them as holiday tree decoration, etc...

rubber can deteriorate in time, just like tires and rubber bands. high school guys should put a fresh rubber in their wallets from time to time or risk finding it unusable when that Viagra moment happens.

One of the best giveaways an organization had one time was condom cases, there just big enough to hold two condoms and a small pack of lube. though its hard to find replacement small lubes,

they had them in lots of colors but i opted to get black as this way i can descreatly carry condoms in my pocket when there is a chance of having an encounter, as i was extremely disappointed one time when me and this really hot guy wanted to go further but I had forgotten my condoms that time and he said he didn't have any, i mentioned going and getting some but it was late, so we opted not to, so we weren't able to go all the way, so i've definatly learned from that experience to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
