In honor of Valentines day, I would like to ask folks here what their favorite tearjearking, heartstopping movies are and why! Tell us .Share the wealth.

this isn't one of mine, but every single girl I know is completely obsessed with Love Actually. It had some funny parts to it, but not much of a tearjerker for me.

If I would have to pick a personal movie, one of my favorites is Thomas Crown Affair. It's borderline chick flick, but its one of my all time favorites. The soundtrack, the art, and the acting were great. (I haven't seen the original yet. Its on my list of things to do before I die tho )

The only three films to make me cry:

- On Golden Pond
- Love! Valour! Compassion!
- Beauty And The Beast (yes, the Disney one. Shut up. It's lovely)

None of them are really Valentine's Day films, though they're all very sweet. And a lot better than Love Actually (ewww...I actually don't know any girls who really liked the film either. It was better than Wimbledon, I guess). It's annoying because I do like a good chick-flick, but it seems that Hollywood's only making really bad ones (Bridget Jones II, The Wedding Date etc. etc.).

My Life - Jeez, I just realized these sad one and this is for Valentine's day

OK......happy crying movies

Ghost - I know....bittersweet
Dirty Dancing - probably on every females list of favorite movies
50 First Dates - Just the most recent one that I cried at the end when I saw it on cable a few weeks ago.

Just don't get me started on those Zales commercials

AI (Artificial Intelligence) - futuristic but had tears coming to my eyes - I felt sorry for the little boy...

I will just list a couple... naturally, everyone, at least women, will know the reason as to why....

Ghost, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Driving Ms. Daisy... and so many more.

In a nutshell... anything with Bette i LOVE!
