I am curious to know as MANY people both men and women seem to have a different answer

I can think of one person so far who has given me a reasonable answer

granted my experience isn't extensive....but those that had any smell at all just had the pheremone smell of her---that kind of "musty" smell. I suspect in some cases, if there is some kind of yeast infection going on, it can smell stronger. Just my humble opinion ...

As a chemist I can give you the answer and it's pretty simple.

the smell of tuna comes from one single chemical compound. think the rest is pretty obvious isn't it

Why we have bad breath when we awake up? and why some people have bad breath even when they brush their teeth? Some bcause do not brush their tongues, others bcause do not floss, otheirs bcause not only poor hygiene is something not well in their stomachs???

If I was a man I would do the same test i do to males...before you put your face and mouth on a vagina, have many sessions of just putting you hand on it..and than discretly smell it...after do it for a while you may had find out if she has a fresh one or not...bcause if you have a shock when you are already there is bcause you did not do your homework/field work of her/his personal habits in advance.

Well this is funny. Cause I am dating a German girl. And apparently over there in Deutchland, they believe, the guy smells or tastes like tuna or fish rather. I couldn't believe it when I heard. The gash can also smell a bit strong when a woman is ovulating. If you're familiar with the many different smells (and, oh yes, there are many different ones) then you can spot which is which.

Well this thread only goes to show that you know how more different answers to answer your questions.

Here is my contribution to long list of answers:

The tuna smell comes from either hygene is poor or bacterial vaginosis. I have had bacterial vaginosis and yep you smell like a fish when you got it.
