Jeez, where is the button for guys wearing strings and thongs??
I dón´t know, but is it possible that g-strings and stuff arent very popular in America. I am German, but since I went to college in the U.S. it was my experience, that everyone wears these lousy freeballing shorts being way to loose around the crotch.
I have always perferred briefs and later strings and stuff, never ever wore boxer briefs.
I think in homophobic Pennsylvania it was considered as gay to walk around in underwear being sexy (*questionmarksrisefrommyhead*
But secretly it looks different, because when i would pick my laudry up from the shared tumbledryer I would spot a guy´s decent leather thong with steel pins on it.
Guys, is there homophobia involved when it comes to underwear???

Yeah probably a fair amount of homopobia is involved but then the person who is different is always picked on by the ignorant.
More likely, I suspect, there is an inherent conservatism in Americans generally and guys wear what their dad's wear or what their wives and mothers pick out. And the only group more conservative and fashion-senseless than the typical American mom is the typical American big-box retailer. That senselessness and baggy pants are the only reasons I can imaging for the multitude of baggy boxers.
That, and they are cheap! Good male underwear is too expensive! Where are the Chinese and Bangledeshies when you need them?
Also, in my experience Europeans tend to have thinner frames and less body fat than Americans so a thong or bikini is more comefortable. Our fat asses just fit better and look better in something stretchy and non-binding.
I have to admit I do like a the look of a guy in well fitting, white cotton boxers cause its very masculine and reminds me of my Dad or my Gramps . Go figure.
I wear them as lounge wear around the house.
