They don't have to be, but I'm sure there are some fathers who want their sons to be cut like them. Likewise uncut fathers may wish their sons to be intact like them.
It will be mostly to do with whether the father likes his status or not. If he has a foreskin and is happy with it, most probably the son with remain uncut. If the father is cut but unhappy with it, he'll probably leave the son intact. If he's cut and prefers it, there's a probability he'll want his son the same.

Re. Chris Martin, it's the other way round. He was not brought up Jewish and has married a Jewish girl (Gwyneth Paltrow). He has stated his children are being brought up Jewish - his son will therefore almost certainly have been circumcised.
Whether Chris himself has had a circumcision remains unknown.

I don't know about him being attractive because he's sensitive, but I agree with the rest of what you said.

Alas, I don't like Coldplay much. I liked "Clocks." I found it haunting...it feels like a memory to me...actually, it always makes me feel like I've forgotten something important, but I can never remember what it is. It's a bit upsetting, actually.

"Speed of Sound" was OK, but dragged at the end. I bought the album hoping I would like it, but I found it hard to listen to. I think Martin is quite a poor singer actually, and I'm amazed that he's been able to make a career out of it.

One thing I find really interesting about Chris Martin is his fascination with Morten Harket of A-Ha. According to the wikipedia article about him:

most of us are average looking people...and i think with the perception that successful people are all gorgeous or suppose to be gorgeous...just is dumb..
