Okay I have already told you I have a christina piercing I got it wednesday night.

Day one was up and down but I love my piercing because it has the desired effect.
Day two was a little scary, the tight feeling never went away and I knew I was probably going to have to call and have a bigger barbell.

Last night I had the worst case happen. The lower part of the barbell pulled into the skin and almost disappeared. Luckly I purchased a larger barbell the night I got pierced just in case. My loving husband ED69 braved replacing the barbell dispite his concerns. Man he is the love of my life. That was the scariest thing we have done together in a long time. Having two kids is the next closest.

Neither one of us wanted me to lose the piercing but we both were scared to death about replacing the barbell.

Problem one getting the old one out because it was so far in. He had to literally push down on the top one to get the bottom one to pop out and then grab it.
Second problem once he unscrewed the ball it was like pushing down on a giant marshmellow and watching it spring up. We were in trouble. I squeezed either side of the piercing to help remove and then hope to get the new one in. The new one didn't go in very smoothly either because the top of it had rose so much it was hard to get the barbell thru. It too about 20 second and I will save you the pain factor. Lets just say it hurt like hell. But once he got the top ball on it felt so good.

All the pressure was gone, the pain was from the surface of the skin which is bruised from the original piercing. but I glad we did it because I know longer was walking in pain. I could sit and not have to readjust immediately. I got out of bed this morning and I didn't feel any pulling. I check the piercing and found it good.

The only problem I am having now is that the original barbell left a small tear and the new one keeps getting sucked into that tear. I can easily pull it out but it means the healing process just got tricky. Cause I don't want the new barbell getting stuck in that hole. So every hour or so I check on it and make sure it is free floating. Any longer and it has to be freed again. So I am going to call my gal and find out what she thinks if I should go the next size up to put a little more play in the barbell or if she has another idea to help the healing.

But the current barbell still rubs me the RIGHT way if you know what I mean. I woke up and felt all kinds of warm fuzzy while watching my hubby sleep and contimplated waking him up with a early morning BJ. I love that feeling but I know he came to bed late so I will make it a late morning BJ instead.:biggrin1:

I'm getting me back again and I am loving it.:arms:

One of the biggest problems with your type of piercing is migration. And with all piercings, proper care is very critical. You know that worse case scenario is taking the piercing out and letting it heal. Talk to your piercer and see if they could give you different jewelry till it heals up some.

Im actually looking to get a piercing in that area, just havent decided yet, Ive narrowed it down to the christina, isabella and nefertiti, im not really much for the fourchette or the other ones.

A small update to this morning, I have talk to my piercer and I know have a larger barbell and everything is feeling real good. The good news is I didn't tear and now that the pressure is off the soar area I'm in heaven again.

All I can say is research your piercing and quiz your piercer on after care thoroughly. I can say the christina piercing is a very pleasurable piercing and gives me great pleasure.
