I've often thought that if I were as politically enthusiastic as I was in the 1970's and '80's, that I could open a consulting business and actively recruit all of the gay men and women who speak and read fluent Farsi, Hazaragi, Pashto, Urdu, Balochi, Arabic, and Kurdish. Then offer my new company's services (under a bidding contract, of course) to the USA Intelligence Organizations and military. This way, the US Government wouldn't have to "dirty it's hands" with us godless homosexuals as government or military employees, and we could clean up (financially) by doing a better job of collecting and translating information passsed about by "terrorist" organizations in the Middle East. But then I'd probably have to live somewhere in the Middle East and I can only deal with so much concrete and rubble in hot arid climates. And there's the problem of gays living open and free in Islamic society.

Nevermind.
