Hey guys,

I think I'm noticing a difference in the kind of generic brand of cialis you get. For those of you guys who get your (tadalifil) from a regular local pharmacy....can you tell me the brand and mg amount you're using and if you feel its good or not. And if you dont want to publicly disclose that please privately message me.

I'm currently taking a 5mg pill made by Northstar from my Safeway/Kroger pharmacy. I will admit I have some side effects that it seems other guys dont have. But I have heard other manufacturers are better than others. In fact I've looked up this Northstar on the FDA list and cant find them.

So I'm curious if you guys can share what brand you're taking and your mg dose? Thxs

Funny, I was recently wondering same thing. I only take cialis recreationally when we want to have a really long hard fuck, so a prescription last me a long time and I only recently started getting the generic version.
Did you get any responses? I have noticed a little difference .

The Tadalafil (generic Cialis) I use is manufactured by Viatris, formed in 2020 through the merger of Mylan, and Upjohn, a legacy division of Pfizer.

I use two different products, a "straight" Tadalafil in 5mg daily form, and a compounded product that contains 20mg Tadalafil, 100 IU Oxytocin, and 200mcg PT-141 (Bremelanotide). Some days I combine both products for a 30mg Tadalafil dose (2x 5mg Tadalafil plus the compounded product).

I've experienced no side effects, and the generic from these suppliers/manufacturers is as effective as Cialis.

No responses. I ended up going to another pharmacy and started using a generic brand called AJANTA. At least that brand is registered with the FDA and in a good rating category. But I still was getting some body aches. Even after trying to adjust my dosage. Take it every other day then ever 3rd day. So I stopped taking it altogether. I'm not really having sex with anyone so what is the point?

Well you got me there !

I had been taking 5 mg authentic Cialis recreationally with very little side effect (little bit of congestion) for a couple of years. Then was traveling with friends who mentioned he tried cialis and didn’t like it, we kind of dummied up and he said “here take them, see what you think “. We took it thinking we’d have a long session that night but ended up with headache, body ache, kind of mild bug feeling. I noticed they were generic (paid no attention to mfg), and figured that was it and tossed the bottle. The next time I renewed my Rx I was give generic, loved the new lower price, and thought I’d try again. This was made by Northstar and was oval shaped similar to brand name Cialis. I didn’t really notice anything different unless I took more than one I’d get more congestion/sinus and very bloodshot eyes. Seem fine if I stick to original 5mg or even a half tablet. Now about two weeks ago i refilled and was given a different brand generic, Alembic, in a little round white tab form. I’ve only tried once a few days ago, but I don’t think I got as much “effect”, as after about 30-45 minutes I lost some hardness and had to really beat the hell out of my cock for over 30 more minutes of being fucked before I came since I wasn’t as hard as usual. Thankfully I did my topping first that night, but sure left me with a red swollen cock for two days lol. Normally I’m full raging boner for over an hour whether topping or bottom when I take one. Maybe just a fluke so I’ll try again a couple of times to see if there is a consistency.

Yea that Northstar brand made me feel bad. Thats why I switched to the Ajanta one. It was slightly better. But it sounds like the best bet is to just use the name brand if you can afford it. I've never had a problem getting hard. I was taking it more for its secondary effects of reducing prostate issues and they're supposed to help with premature ejaculation which I have a bit of. And i guess it did help with that. But it kind of just numbed it all down there to where I wasn't really feeling all that much pleasure. So I dont know about. Cialis did nothing for libido. It did give me nighttime erections. Like to the point it kept waking me up. An issues i've had on or off medication. But on it..it was significantly worse.

Just checked my bottle and it is Ajanta. Glad to hear it’s okay since it works pretty well.

Before generic tadalifil was available in the US, I used a Canadian pharmacy to get it, and it was made by Mint. Once I could get tadalifil locally, it has been 2 or 3 different brands over the course of the last few years. I really haven't noticed any differences between them, and as long as they fulfill their purpose (consistently getting erections on demand) I've been happy (and so has my wife!) :emoji_grinning:
