The circumcsion advocates, such as Edgar Schoen, made the choice for you. In their view, allowing an adult to choose for himself leaves too much to chance.aborcrmbe2 said:I never really thought about it because I really didn't have a choice when I was a tiny kid.
Your parents should know. In USA, most likely you would have been a few days old. The pro-circumcisers want it done before the baby leaves the hospital because the odds of it being done drop drastically after the baby is taken home. Upon reaching adulthood, it becomes very unlikely. Adult circumcisions are rare, even in USA.I wonder how old I was? // Does anyone know the age that might have happened to me?
After about 1990 you most likely would have been given a local nerve block ... partially effective. Even today, they're not always used. Was I given some baby roofies?
Your parents might have signed it. I say "might" because before 1970, hospitals often didn't present one to the parents. Successful lawsuits forced that practice after 1970.I can't imagine that I signed a consent form
