I was wondering if circumcision is more prevalant to those born in the first half of the year (January 1-June 30) or during the second half of the year (July 1-December 31).

That's what I'm trying to learn. Are we going to find that more circumcisions are done during the warmer months or the colder months? Pehaps I should make a poll on this according to season.
I like ask far fetched questions but this went too far.

Are you a HMO executive planing his future revenue? :biggrin1:

It's a bit rude to slam you for asking the question. If the result is dramatic you might be on to something (I can't think what).

One problem (ignoring the fact that self-selected polls have no statitical validity) is that this sample is, by definition, biased towards men with large penises. We don't know much about what causes that, so we don't know how this might affect the outcome. Actually, it might be interesting to use this site to investigate that. I feel a poll coming on.

Penis size is genetic, all sex characteristics are gene based. But religion and hygiene are the biggest factors. Jewish men get it at birth, some parents do it for hygiene reasons. Any data you get is going to be a correlation and not data relevant to each other.

I would like to know the age, because then you could see trends.

Not only is it pointless but you seem to have asked the wrong question anyway.

Please tell me whether you think the first half of the year constitutes warmer months than the last half?

Does your ratrher wierd theory have it that parents of a newborn think "gee this weather is hot - better get that foreskin off" or is it infuenced by Doctors who think they need to get some money together for a skiing holiday?

So do tell what was the point of this?

i can tell you right now bruddah, there is absolutely no correlation between time of year and babies that get a circumcision.

why do people still debate cut vs uncut? it's tired. it's contrived. please, just let it rest

Agreed

Not only is it pointless but you seem to have asked the wrong question anyway.

True! The more relevant and interesting question would be, "Were you born between:

1900 - 1925
1926 - 1950
1951 - 1975
1976 - 2000

Does your rather wierd theory have it that parents of a newborn think "gee this weather is hot - better get that foreskin off" or is it infuenced by Doctors who think they need to get some money together for a skiing holiday?

Hahaha that's funny. My dentist got his first Corvette the year I had 2 root canals. Coincidence? I think not.
