How come some people don't seem to have them, but it's very evident on others?

I've seen some pictures of a few circumcised men on here, and I was actually jealous that their skin color was even all along the shaft and the scar just blends in, while mine is pretty tan up to the scar but pink above the scar and on my head.

Do I have my doctor to blame, or is it just how I am?
Don’t worry bro. I just checked your pics and you have a gorgeous and huge cock. You’re good man haha

I think it tends to be the method and the age of circ. Plastibell circs shortly after birth seem to have invisible scars. Most other styles and adult circs leave scars, especially the distinctive brown ring of the gomco clamp which is apparently the most common method.

I think it also depends on where the cut is made. Mine is high and tight, done freehand so slightly irregular. I do have slight difference in skin colour between the scar and my glans. My shaft goes quite dark if I've been sunbathing naked.

A low circumcision is closer to the glans, so there is little inner skin exposed.
